About
Eagle Lakes Golf Club is situated just minutes from Olde Naples and Marco Island. It lives up to its name, providing a round of golf accompanied by a pair of bald eagles that call this stretch of the Everglades home, along with an abundance of other wildlife. The course design represents classic Florida golf tradition. There is no shortage of water anywhere on this golf course, it comes into play in one form or another on every hole. They may all have water but that might be the only common characteristic they have. Every hole presents a unique challenge. The golf course is wide-open, which also makes it subject to the prevailing winds. Eagle Lakes Golf Club's final hole is a lengthy par 5 with water surrounding the fairway and all along the left side.

Hard work paying off
This local course is packed with natural beauty and Florida wildlife. There’s a new superintendent thats been hired and the course is in very good condition and improving by the day. The staff is extremely friendly whether its the starter, pro, pro shop or bar. With very few public golf courses in Naples, Eagle Lakes will be among the best. As a local, I’m lucky enough to play all year long. Today, by myself, finished my round in 2hours and 25 minutes. Really enjoy it.
Could really be something
First, the driving range is at least a 5 minute cart ride from clubhouse, so if you want to warm up, allow sufficient time. The staff are helpful. The course is in pretty rough shape. Half the tees are torn up. The layout looks like it could be something if the course was repaired/maintained. I won't play again until I can confirm it is in shape.
Hopefully it will be better
A somewhat challenging course with a lot of water. Half the tees are torn out. Greens were furry, slow and a bit weedy, but it had been wet and maybe they were not able to do their normal maintenance. Overall, course maintenance was less than I would expect from a municipal course. I may try it again closer to season to see if it improves, but right now, I would look elsewhere. Definitely a lot better values available.
Tee boxes under repair - bummer. But its a nice course. Lots gators...watch out.

Ran onto course early one weekday morning. The starter was friendly and accommodating. Local regulars usually scowl at letting people play thru so early. But the three groups I played thru were super friendly and kind - telling me to take my time. I finished this fair and fun test in 1.5hrs riding. Thanks so much Eagle Lakes regulars!
Course condition
I suspect that mid July in SW FL is rough time for growing conditions. The fairways were scorched in a few areas, as were the greens. I do like the course.
Great Course and Staff
This is a great course no matter you level of play.

Very fair people when lightening stopped play
We hadn't played this course in a long time due to the negative reviews. So we decided to try it again as reviews have improved. Staff were extremely helpful. Course layout is good. However, some of the white tee boxes are scorched and bare. Greens were ok and we would play the course again. Unfortunately, severe lightening stopped play after 11 holes. Thank you EL staff for agreeing to give us a refund. We will book another round or two next week for sure.
Has Potential
Very nice layout and wide fairways. Tee boxes were brown and hardly no grass. Greens were plush but rolled slow. Driving range was closed because ball dispensing machine was broken.
This course is awesome!
Definitely recommend to anyone that’s into golfing and south Florida scenery. Do not dig for balls near water. Gators pretty much play with you on the course !
Better than expected
Fast friendly staff and course was in great condition with only a few spots for repairs.
