Well worth the trip from DFW
One of my favorite places to play. The 1 hour drive from DFW is nothing when you can experience great conditions as well as a great layout. Opening of the Rooster is a huge boost. My only knock on the course was the bunkers. Some good and some not.
Great play
Play was slow, but doable. Great staff and course. It’s the kind of place you want to play again and again.
Second Time Playing Here
The first time I played here was pace of play was excellent. This time the pace of play was horrible. I contribute this to the weather. This was the last day before weather began to get cold. The course is fantastic especially for this time of year. The greens roll true and fast. The course is very well maintained and the staff are SUPER friendly! Good price point and worth the money. You won't be disappointed with Canyon West.
First Time Playing Here
The lake course was in good condition for this time of year. The pace of play was very good. The greens were average and the course layout was on par. The golf carts were in good shape, no gps, but did have two USB plugs for charging accessories. We were paired with another group due to course booking slots needed which was just fine.
Great Course
It’s fall/winter and the course is in great shape and the people there are the best! I love this place!!
Great day of golf
Took my 14 year old son out to enjoy one of my favorite courses. We had a great time on the course and he enjoyed hitting some balls after the round on their great practice area.
A favorite course
Greens were good, fairways in fair condition, Complaint is no potable water on course.
Squaw Creek - Lakes
Staff was great. Course in good shape. Needed a course Marshall. A 2-some held up everyone for 14 holes.

Greens and fairways are in good conditions, excellent pace of play and good service on the course and I’m the restaurant.
Absolute perfect round of golf. Everyone had an outstanding attitude toward each other, including the gentleman we were paired with. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
Great layout
The course was in good shape, but the greens had just been sanded. Enjoyed the course!
Great course
The lakes course was in great shape!!! Definitely can tell they water everything there!! Awesome work by the crew. Glad to have this course in my backyard. Will be back soon.
