First Time
First time playing the course, and I really
enjoyed the layout. As I had been told
when I checked in the bunkers and greens were not in great shape, but they were playable. Even though there is water on something like 13 holes, the water was fairly easy to avoid even in on a windy like it was yesterday. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was worth the drive from
the DFW area and just made a day out it. I will be back to play in the future.
Challenging layout, but very fun course.
This course demands smart play. There is no "spray and pray" here without severe consequences. However, a little discretion and correct club selection will bring success! I highly recommend this course to all skill levels.
Great value
Once they figure out the sand traps this course will be awesome friendly people great pace of play
Great course, well kept
This is a very nice course. Just be aware houses line almost every hole.
Great round on a wet day!
Rained on and off all morning. Teed off at noon and the course was still in great shape for the wet conditions! Greens rolled out like they were dry! Shot the best round I’ve had in a while! Harbor lakes never disappoints!
It was enjoyable to play. The course presents a good challenge.
Challenging and unique
First time here- pleasantly delighted and challenged. Only knock is finding your ball in the rough right now is not very fair. So hit it in the fairway and find a fantastic deal just outside FW and worth the drive. Great Value
Great course
Amazing course that is well maintained and has great views of the lake. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was a 5some in front of us that let us through and then a slow dad son combo appeared on 10. Besides that the round was fun and worth it. Definitely will play again soon.
Stay out of the water and bunkers
This is a challenging course with a great layout. It throws everything at you.
The only complaint I have was that the bunkers were nearly unplayable. I should have just took ground under repair drops.
Great Value
Range balls included in green’s fee! Challenging course; a few areas under repair, but nice conditions! Coolers on carts, outdoor self serve ice machine…I’ll definitely come back!
Always enjoy
Harbor lakes was in excellent shape. The greens were perfect. A couple of bunkers were under construction. Fairways were lush. The first cut of rough was good, the second was about 4 inches and was so lush I lost a ball.
Harbor Lakes is back!
Harbor Lakes is a course worth traveling to again! The greens are recovered from the Poa Anna and they are perfect! The only detrimental factor to playing here is the traps are terrible. If they ever fix them this could be the best test anywhere in DFW!
Fun Round of Golf
Harbor Lakes was awesome all around. I love the course layout and the conditions were excellent. Greens were extremely smooth and rolled faster than most other courses I have been playing recently. Staff was friendly. I can't wait to play here again.
