Treasure Hills Golf Club
About
Treasure Hills GC is one of the better layouts in the Rio Grande Valley. Built on rolling terrain, the wide fairways present nice targets off the tee, and the elevated greens require taking an extra club every now and then. While not an overbearing factor, water hazards come into play throughout the design.
Getting there : From Hwy 77 driving south, exit on Ed Carey and turn left. When you come to Business 77 turn right, drive down to Trailer Hills Blvd. and turn left. Veer right at the split in the road and turn left on Pinehurst, where you'll see signs to the course.

Treasure Hills
It was my first time playing Treasure Hills and I really enjoyed it. The wide open fairways were great since I am a beginner. There is a lot of open space to play from. The rolling hills are one of a kind here in the flat valley. Very cool! I must admit that I enjoyed the first 9 more than the back 9, if only the entire course was like the first 9. Views for days on the first 9. I also enjoyed the water stations. The water was nice and cold on a 100+ degree day. Will definitely be returning!
Great layout of course
Course is great. Just water water water water that’s all it needs for the fairways and surrounding areas. Greens are improving
Great Deal
The greens were in great shape and the pace was just right. Had a great time out on the course today! We’re definitely going back next weekend
Greens have been better
The greens were being worked on so that put a damper on our round. The other downside are the portable restrooms, not a fan.
Great golf experience
Loved the front nine! Each hole was like a complete new experience. Nothing else in view except that hole!
Course needs a little work
Course was ruff in place possibly from heavy play but other places show much improvement
Great course was well kept up
Played this coursemany time always seems like fairway grass has been cut to short but this time around was much better. Making more trips out there if course is kept up as it was this round of golf.
Great Value For The Price
The course is in good condition. The greens were easy to put and ran true.
Interesting course
First time to Treaure Hills found the course interesting, course in good condition, for the R G V. Pace of play was ok
Country Club ???
Course was in very poor condition, mud and water everywhere. Greens were rough, and fairways were sparse. Layout was ok, but that was the only positive to this course. Definitely not my definition of a Country Club course, needs A LOT of work.
Best in the area
For me, the best course in the area. Long enough, greens are in good shape (compared to what's available in the area), super price.... had always played River bend course, will start playing Treasure hills now
our Round
No problem checking in. Did use the driving range and just a bit of putting.
There was a single going to the tee so we hooked up and had an enjoyable time. We hadn't played in awhile so we were a bit rusty but happy to be golfing.
The course overall was pretty good but the greens did leave a bit to be desired.
We got a great price using Golf Now-Hot Deal and paid $37.87 for 2 people including cart, tax and GN fee. Will go back before leaving this area if the weather cooperates. .
Better shape.
I played treasure Hills only 2 weeks ago and it was in much worse condition. The greens have gotten better and they are keeping up with the mowing. There is a lot of improvement needed at the course. Layout is excellent. It's always a challenge.
