Treasure Hills Golf Club
About
Treasure Hills GC is one of the better layouts in the Rio Grande Valley. Built on rolling terrain, the wide fairways present nice targets off the tee, and the elevated greens require taking an extra club every now and then. While not an overbearing factor, water hazards come into play throughout the design.
Getting there : From Hwy 77 driving south, exit on Ed Carey and turn left. When you come to Business 77 turn right, drive down to Trailer Hills Blvd. and turn left. Veer right at the split in the road and turn left on Pinehurst, where you'll see signs to the course.

Challenging course
Course layout is great. Might be hard on walkers. Greens need a lot of work. Very patchy and bumpy.
Needs a little water, but overall good value with Golf now.
Excelent value for the money
Excelent round and interesting course, tricky holes that seam to be easy and they arent.
Good course
They are working to get it even better, i like that!!
Very good Value
First time on this course. I have played around the southeast and Florida, and played from the whites (6400 yd). Check-in was smooth, practice areas and driving range were good, and the price was great. Course layout was interesting and only a few places that were unexpected and would have been nice to know beforehand. Greens were very good with generous size, subtle breaks, and decent speed. Pace of play was great as I was the only one in sight on a Tuesday morning. The only negative is that this is south Texas and the course was dry in many places. But I guess that is to be expected. Based on my one experience, I would rate a solid 4 and it would be better if located in a wetter environment.
Wait Wait and Wait
This course is good shape. I would play it again if it were not for the slow play...we had to wait up to 20 mins at some holes. A marshal that is not afraid of talking to some old members about speeding up would be nice. I may play it again next year...
Okay for the price
Staff not friendly
Need to water more
Golf
Enjoyed a good round of golf with friends. The course was in good shape, excellent big greens with a lot of undulating. Would recomend playing this course.
Ok round of golf
For the price we paid it was well worth it. The course does need to spend a little more money on water to help the dry areas.
Layout verygood
Enjoyed our round. Have to play smart golf. Greens are big. Don't even get close to the water fairway slope toward the water on back nine. Found it once and one hole should have laid up drove it in the water. Shot 84 first time played
Same Old Treasure Hills
Course was in its usual shape for this time of year Fairways are dry but mostly grassy. Greens were in decent shape but slower than we were used to. Good value at flamer prices
Interesting course
Challenging course, but not too bad. Pleasure to play!
Nice new electric carts
Course needs some tlc in places, but they are working on it. Only 1 port-a-potty on the course, back 9, which for us ladies isn't very convenient. And it isn't nice seeing men behind trees or bushes. Cart "boys" are very friendly, courteous, and accommodating. We have never had any problems using GolfNow reservation.
Course is challenging but needs upkeep.
The fairways are very dry and missing grass in places. Fairways need to be watered.
Every hole is different
A great course with a different challenge on every hole A tough course to walk
Not a course for beginers
Good play for the money.
Course would be at lot more pleasurable if they would maintain the hard steering carts and paths.
Terremotes
Golf course in good shape. We had a good outing looking forward to play again.
This course is challenging with strategic bunkers and water on several holes.
The recent drought that has struck South Texas has had a negative effect on this course. Fairways are dry and hard which allows for longer drives but unfair to players trying to manage the course. The greens were recently aerated which made them more difficult to read.
