South Padre Island Golf Club - 9 Holes Course

Course looked fun. All greens were closed. 18 temporary greens says it all.

Greens need a lot of help. Are basically just sand

The fairways were in good shape. Most of the greens were all sand. They might be in the process of overseeding. The pace of play was good

Greens are just sand and will take a long time to fix

I enjoyed playing this course! There could have been a little more care put into the greens and some minor manicuring, but overall, not bad for being the only one close to South Padre. On this day the mosquitoes were on the prowl!!

Course is in good shape fun layout and excellent views throughout. I’ve had a certain member of the staff be pretty rude on a few different occasions but most are friendly and welcoming.

We were told to play faster considering we were already playing fast for a 4some bcause local members who were playing from red and white in group of 3's kept calling the marshall to tell us to go even faster. How fast can u play golf?. We made finished 9 hole in 1hour 42 minutes. The marshal would not listen to our reason. Not going back again. I can't recommend the course sorry.

We were 4some healthcare frontliners trying to have fun and we were playing fast but we were forced to play faster than recommended pace because golfers behind us kept calling the marshall saying we were holding back other groups. We made our turn in 1 hour and 42 minutes. That's pretty fast for a 4some. We reasoned that we're pacing really fast but the marshall just wouldn't take our side. $50 bucks × 4. We were there to get away and relaxed but instead we all felt harrassed. Not worth it. Not going back again. River Bend is much much better.

We love the course! Great staff and in great shape!

Good conditions, great layout, very fun track. A must play for the RGV.
