love this place
I have played many courses in the area and this place is always my favorite. I'm an18 hcp 61 year old and play from the owl tees. Just tough enough to challenge but just safe enough to allow a few pars and a birdie from time to time. I will always come back. Also, the clubhouse has great food, great staff and the place is beautiful!
Poorly maintained
All bunkers on course were overgrown with grass and were considered as unplayable, fairways and greens were in ok shape with scattered balled patches. As always though great layout and scenery, just poorly maintained currently.
Sand Traps Overgrown
This is usually one of my favorite courses in the area. The personnel is very friendly. The tee boxes and greens are in good shape. Golf carts have GPS. The problem was the sand traps. Every one of them is overgrown with weeds. The message on the GPS system tells golfers to play them like ground under repair. I have never seen the course in this condition and I think it is a little overpriced based on the playing conditions. I am confident the sand traps will be addressed...the course is still worth playing. It still stays on my list as one the best courses in the area.

Needs a lot of work
I use to love this course and it was always taken care of. I understand the pandemic has slowed things down but wow, this course needs some work. The bunkers have trees growing in them, fairways need cut, and the greens are in the worst shape I have seen for any course. For the price, this courses should be much better. This course is on the trail and it is not up to par. Please do better and make this course what it use to be.

Didn’t know the front 9 was closed. Had to play back 9 twice. No notification through Golfnow.

Good shape except for sand traps
If the sand traps would have been manicures the course would be really nice. Other than that we enjoyed our found thoroughly
Bunkers
My only dislike is the lack of bunker play. It takes a lot away from the experience and challenges of the game. Overall, I enjoyed my round very much.

Love the unique layout
I have played here many times in the past. It has been over 5 years since I have played here last. As always, the course is fun and challenging. The only complaint I have is that the sand traps were completely unplayable. They were full of mud, weeds, and rocks. I could understand if they were just not raked or had a few weeds because of scaled back maintenance due to Covid 19. But this was total negligence. I was disappointed that I paid full price with the condition of the traps. I will return because I enjoy playing there so much. I just hope they do some work!
