About
Four Mile Ranch Golf Club sprawls across a stunning landscape of gently rolling hills. The layout closely follows the natural contours of the terrain and doesn't use any formal bunkers, in their place are white shale ridges called hogbacks. They can range anywhere in height from 3 to 30 feet and they're not even the golf course's only distinctive feature. The layout winds through natural rock outcropping and a number of mini canyons. It's as challenging as it is scenic, though, with several blind shots and intimidating greens, none of which are more daunting than that on the memorable par-5 sixth. This tough green is obscured by huge rocks, testing not only your skills but also your ability to strategize. Four Mile Ranch G.C. offers a golf experience like none other in the area.

Crazy greens, fun course
The course was in good shape. There were a few spots that needed some attention, but not bad. The layout was fun with several blind shots. The greens were crazy, with big bumps and hills that made stopping the ball near the hole impossible in some places.
This course is very unique.
The only problem I had with the golf was I was stuck behind a foursome that would not let me play through. I was a single and had to wait on every tee box. Even when they were looking for a ball they wouldn’t let me. Have to say I hit some of my longest drives that day. (Anger under control) 😊
Great test
My first time playing here and it was a blast! Friendly staff went out of their way to help us get oriented and off to a good start. Good conditions and excellent greens. For more undulating than I used to, but really good surfaces. Several blind shots, including some “hidden” greens. Great bang for the buck and we played in 4 hours with no waiting. I’ll be back again to play this course!
Elevated Tee Boxes
The pro shop is basically a trailer, the parking lot is a dirt lot and the carts are in a tent, so when you first drive up it gives the impression of a shabby course, but don’t judge this book by the corer. If you like elevated tee boxes (which I do), this course is great. There are several tee boxes that are way above the fairway, giving stunning views and lots of opportunity for long downhill rolls. The out of bounds is punishing desert. The tee boxes were at times a bit unkept, but not terrible. The fairways were generally in good shape, except that the edges were rough in some places. There are several blind shots, so make sure you read the description in the free booklet they give out at the pro shop if you cannot see where you are hitting. Some of the greens have crazy big angulations. There are several putts where is it physically impossible to stop the ball anywhere near the hole. For those holes, it pays to know where on the green you need to land the ball to avoid an impossible putt.
Unforgettable experience.
This course is in great shape and the views are awesome. I can't wait to go back and play again. Such a great value.

Played here a couple years ago so took a few holes to remember the intricacies but was greatly satisfied... the staff are super friendly and helpful..thanks again...
Cool course
Nice course, some tricky shots make it interesting. Has been dry around that area lately which has made for some dead spots in fairways but in past has been well taken care of.
