Majestic Springs Golf Course

The fairways were in great shape. I play 2-3 times a week at different courses. Majestic Springs' fairways were in better shape than some GREENS I've played this year!!

The course was in great shape for late summer, early fall. The greens had just been treated and there were plugs on the greens. But other than that which is expected for this time of year. Could use some new sand in traps but a great course for the price.

Course is leaps and bounds over what it was 2 years ago...greens perfect, fairways healthy. Only problem are bunkers which are being worked on. Well worth the money and time to play here. Expanding their clubhouse also...only drawback for beer lovers is they cant sell it on Sunday. Other than that, will tell everyone I know to go there.

course needs more work new owner improving course but still needs more sand in traps and a lot more yardage markers. grounds are very enjoyable bird sanctuary course layout pretty decent

Always great to play this course. So much better than it was two years ago. Fairways and Greens are excellent.

I also played on the Saturday that the previous reviewer played, I was concerned before we teed off but once we got started it was fine, we finished in 4:20 min. Not sure why he was out there 5 and a half hours. First time playing the course, really enjoyed it and will be back. Hidden GEM.

This course is awesome I have been playing this course for years and it is in amazing shape and is well taken care of the maintenance group is doing amazing thing, the leaks on the greens are almost gone and look the same love this course and anyone that hasn't played this course needs to go out and play this course.

Very impressed with course condition. I've played it a few times over the past 3 years, and yesterday noticed the condition of the fairways and greens are excellent. Construction has begun on a new clubhouse, and the grounds are noticeably improved. Kudos to the new ownership!

A great mix of holes, in the forest and in windswept terrain. The rough is very hard, and so crazy bounces with alot of roll can occur, ending in a hazard. But the fairways outside of the forested areas are very generous, so you only get in trouble if you are way off course. Greens are larger and sloped, and were speeding up as the day went on. Probably about a 10 by noon. Back tee boxes are in horrible condition - maybe I am one of the few that uses them, but I found the middle tees at 5600yds to bee too short. B9 is 300+ yds longer than F9. Would be a great course for walking except some green to next tee distances are crazy long. And this is not a golf course community - its out in the peace and tranquility of the countryside. (and that was really nice).

Played Majestic Springs this morning. I booked a Hot Deal Tee Time, that was labeled "Fast Play Time". However, upon arriving at the course I discovered that there was a Senior League in FRONT of my scheduled tee time. I ended up waiting on several holes. It took just over 4 hours to play 18 holes, whe is not necessarily slow, but I do not consider that fast play. I had to drive over an hour to get to the course, and was expecting to move along faster that I did.

The course itself was in ok condition. The greens were iffy, and many had dead spots. I also found the speed of the greens to be inconsistent from hole to hole. The fairways were "hairy", but in good condition. There are some tricky holes where if you do not know where to hit, you could be in trouble.

Finally, Majestic Springs touts itself as a links course. It is not a links course. There are about 3 holes that have a links look, but there are trees everywhere.

This is a decent course, and if you can get the $13 hot deal, it is worth it.

It is some level of challenging course if you play back tee. And it is well maintained. I recommended to play.

I was amazed at how well maintained the fairways and greens were- they were nice and soft and spongy- greens held the ball from any distance- some drainage issues on some fairways from over watering, but looked like they were repairing them- only thing I would change, is to pave all the golf cart paths- and possibly put more mounding or trees between some holes to keep sound level down from other groups and what not-

I don't know if it was because of the holiday, but I played there on Friday before labor day and it took forever. I have had outings faster than that.

I played in the morning and played in about 3.5 hours. I enjoyed the quite rural setting. I will be going back!

Good layout nice rolling terrain. Bunkers are in strategic places. Makes tee shots a challenge. Slow round due to group in front of us 2 holes behind didn't let us play thru till 14th hole. Would have been 4hr round. Will play again!

Had a ball playing this course! Every hole is challenging! Staff is very friendly!!

One of my favorite of the beaten path courses. It is always a joy to visit there. Very fair test of golf.

I almost hate to tell everyone how great this place is because then it will get harder and harder to get on. But... the new owners have taken what was once a course in pitiful shape and turned it into something that is very nice to place. There are still some bunkers they are working on but they have kept the place well manicured, the greens are in great shape and the pace of play is excellent. 4 hours and 15 minutes (and we had a few guys in our group really playing slow) to complete the round is great these days. You need to try this course out.

Fun course, great value. Well maintained. In August fairways had good turf, no signs of burnout. Hole layouts had character. Would rate above avg of middle tier courses. Great option if you don't want to pay $48+ for your round. This was my second time here. Can tell the new management is improving the course.

Course is in good shape and affordable. The improvements done this year are nice. Keep it up !!
