Great birthday round
Fun mountain course. Challenging but fair (16 handicap, played from the white tees). Greens just a tad slow for my taste, but fairways, tee boxes, traps all in good shape. Drained very well after heavy rain previous day. Overall very enjoyable and a very good deal through Golf Now.

Great course especially for the money. Great tee boxes, fairways and greens. Very scenic and we had a great time.

Challenging but fair
This is a very challenging course but it is fair. It has quite a few hills with many uphill and downhill shots. The traps are well-maintained and the greens were in excellent condition. I am very much considering joining this course when the memberships are available again.

Loved the blind tee shots
The course can intimidate because of several blind tee shots.......but this ads to the charm of the course. Greens were great, bunkers were clean, staff was really kind. I would play there again any day.

Good Value for Good golf course ..
Can’t say nothing bad about the course .. very good price & a decent golf course .. it’s all worth the time & money. .. if you haven’t played there, please go check it out, you won’t be disappointed .

Fun Track
First time playing this course in over 4-years. Great layout and challenging. Some blind tee shots test your accuracy off the tee, not to be outdone by some tucked away greens surrounded by hazards. Course was in great shape and the greens were rolling smooth. Fun day!

Great Condition!
Course was in excellent shape, at least from the Blues and Reds. Tee boxes much better than last year and greens were very consistent. Pace of play was pretty good- we finished in about 41/2 hours.

Tricky layout
Very interesting course. We were helped on the front nine by playing with members who only were playing nine holes. There are a decent number of holes where it is very difficult to judge where to hit your tee shot. That was a challenge on number 14 where I hit my drive perfectly, I thought but I was blocked out by a double dog leg and tall trees. Overall though, a very nice course and good value.

Enjoyable Experience
Another great time at Blue Ridge Shadows. The course, and the greens in particular, is in great shape. 0742 tee time, got out a little early and didn't slow down. Worth the hour drive to get here from my house!
