Had a great time!
New golfer and went and played a round by myself. Was paired up with a couple and had a great time. Course was challenging yet a lot of fun for me as a beginner.
Way More Negatives Then Positives
Pheasant Run is mostly a Par 3 course, with the exception of three Par 4's.
Let's start with the positives of the course. The design of the course is very pleasing to the eye. The greens have a nice sandy base that helps with limiting ball marks/smudges on their greens. The price of $34 for 18 holes is attractive.
Here are the negatives about the course. Pace of play was awful. It became extremely awful when they put out an additional foursome in front of us, as we made the turn. You simply cannot do this!
The greens are extremely slow and fuzzy.
There are 3 greens that are ridiculous in their design. With 4-5 levels. Hole 3 & 15.
Many of the tees needed to be mowed. Holes 6, 12 & 13. Some of the fescue blades of grass were 4 inches high.
On hole 5, if the pin is cut right, there is a tree in the way.
Normally, I would give this course a 3-star rating. However, the pace of play (letting another group in front of us on hole 10) is unacceptable.
DAS
They should not let 4-somes through onto the back 9 as others are coming around from the front 9 - really slowed the pace of play - poor management

Great course, lots of fun, well kept, greens nice, carts nice, club house well kept, staff friendly and helpful, and I had fun playing.
Fun Course
It’s early in the gold season and the course was a little rough. Not a big deal, I understand. Value is great and pace of play was good. I recommend for a fun day out with the kids or wife.
Starting the year
Good course to start your year off right. Very enjoyable.
Not bad.
Not a bad 18 holes. Didn’t do our research first and didn’t realize this was mainly a par 3 course. We had fun none the less. Course was in ok shape I would say, other than the concrete like bunkers. Also the carts were definitely not in the best shape. Overall the staff was very friendly, we will be back.
1st time players
Overall the course was great the tee boxes were really dirty with leftover broken tees, cigarette butts ECT... We would go back and we really want to play at night time thank you.
