It was a very windy; 50 degree, overcast day. It had rained the night before and there was standing water everywhere. When I teed off at 11 am there was only one other group on the course. Having already paid my fees to GolfNow I thought I may as well just play a few holes then go grab some lunch.
I was pleasantly surprised to find the greens were firm and freshly mowed and the rest of the course had drained very well and th the course was not muddy as I expected. The only inconvenience was there were no ball washers on the course to clean your ball when it did need it.
All in all a very pleasant round.
Good course to work on short game.
Very short course. Many holes around 100yards. Mostly pitch and putt. 3 par 4’s out of 18 holes. It was great to work on my short game. The pace was very slow because a lot of novices play this course. Many holes I could play 2 balls, which was nice, but this course should take 2 hours to play, and it took me 3 1/2 hours.
Pheasant Run
I always enjoy playing here. If you want to play for about two and half hours (18 holes) then this is the place. I cant say enough about it. It's great. I don't always have four hours to play so this is very convienant.
Nice round with the kids
The layout and staff made playing with the kiddos a fun time. Played during the week with two 9 year olds and the course was pretty open so we didn't feel like were holding anyone up. The staff was very friendly and supportive of having the kids play. We will be back.
Great Par 3 Course
Enjoyed playing 18 holes on a Saturday morning. Course was in good shape but I did notice some golfers were not repairing their divots. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely play this course again!
Great place to hone your short game
Challenging par 3 layout with a few short par fours. Heavily bunkered and lots of water on front 9; a great place to dial in your short game. The staff was very helpful and the bartender was A+!!!
Lots of dirt, little grass
Too many places had little to no grass, sometimes just dirt. Easily walkable, might help with course conditions. Golfers drove all over the place, lazy people! Executive Course with only 3 par fours, rest par threes. Disappointed!
nice small course, can be pricey
I have played this course more times than i can recall. If you are able to catch it when they have 18 holes for under $25 or so its a good deal, but I wouldn't pay more when there are bigger courses nearby for less. As far as the play it is pretty open, a couple water hazards that can come into play, and one par 4 with a tree line along the left that could present an issue for lefties. I will go again, but as always I check with GolfNow before booking to see if today is the day, or if I need to wait for a better deal.
Great chance to work on irons.
Only 5 golfers on course. Great opportunity to work on irons. Course was in very good shape in spite of recent rains.
Fun little course but overpriced.
I try to come and play here a lot if I'm going to do some iron work or don't have time for a full course. It's usually in decent shape, the greens are a little worn from all the play on them but not bad. I try to find cheaper rates on golfnow, but my only complaint is I think the course is a little overpriced. Paying $34 for a par 3 course seems a little excessive. But if you can find a cheaper rate, walk, or don't care about price its a fun course, especially at night.
Slow slow slow
The pace of play is ridiculous and it's a par 3 course.
Great Par 3 Course
Awesome par 3 course to knock the rust off from the off-season, or if you need to work on your short to mid range game. Can knock out a full 18 in under 2 hours during the week.
