Course was generally in great condition but greens were a bit rough with si much play. If golfers would repair their ball marks and not drag feet on the greens then it would have been great.
Great course
Great course and no waiting. I went to practice for a up coming tournament. Shot a 73. Would of been nice to sink one of the 2 birdie putts on 17 or 18 to go even par. Only complaint is, you can't golf alone, they will always putt you on a cart with someone else, every time.
The golf course is well maintained and the staff are friendly. I always want to come here.
Great conditions and pace
Was Father’s Day Sunday and tee sheet was packed yet pace was great. Fairways and greens excellent condition. No drinking water on course “due to Covid” is crazy. Had a cart girl but we never saw her until hole 17, even if she had to cover both courses I’d think we woulda seen her earlier.
Always a fun time there!
Overall General Review
First time player was for a charity tournament last summer…I’m guessing because of the charity event the staff was more friendly and accommodating…
But this last time the staff was absolutely atrocious! Concessions staff made us feel like we were inconveniencing them by asking for something as simple as a cup of ice
Proshop and Clubhouse staff were very polite and professional.
Concession staff was the biggest issue or concern.
Golf carts were in very poor condition and surprised it actually made it through all 18 holes…cart didn’t even work in reverse
Solid public course
Compass Pointe is a great option in the area as they have two 18 hole courses. To borrow a line from Moneyball, they put their money into the course. Fairways, tee boxes and greens were in great shape. Staff is friendly and welcoming. It's not really walkable given the distances between holes but carts are included. If you're visiting the area it's convenient from Annapolis, BWI or Baltimore.
Played Northeast which is hard to get a good tee time . Just airated and early season so fairways , tee boxes and greens were not in good shape . Enjoyed getting on Northeast and good day
