Coyote Springs Golf Club

This was my first time playing this course. The layout of the course is fantastic, but the problem was they just punched the greens. I would have not played this course knowing the green had just been punched. This is not the fault of the course, I put the blame on GolfNow for not telling me the condition of the greens. This is the only reason I didn’t rate the course higher. I would like to play the course again when the greens are right again.

So awesome course, worth the travel from Las Vegas. Staff was very friendly and was great in getting you out quickly on the course. Pick your tee carefully, don't be a hero because it will punish you. You will not find a flat putt anywhere on this course. Load up before you head out because you will not see the clubhouse or restaurant again until you finish. Plenty of water on the course in coolers. While out on course use the cart girl. She carries some food or bring some food with you.

When I read this course was in the middle of nowhere I thought that was a hyperbole. It was not. Went there as a twosome and got hooked up with a single young guy. I say in this way because we are retired and come to Vegas often and like to play different courses each time we come so we believe golf is a “Game to enjoy”. This young guy had not come to that conclusion. In any case the course was great. We are big fans of Wolf Creek and was told we would also like this course. Staff was great. Made it around the course in 4 1/2 hours (not great but acceptable). Did not particularly have my A or B game so course appeared a bit narrow on the back nine. I have played higher end courses that was not worth the money but this was not the case here. Well worth it and I will be back.

Absolutely gorgeous, I played early in the morning. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer course. Would recommend to anybody it is worth the drive trust me.

A truly great.course that will test every part of your game. Don’t expect a level lie on a fairway or green which means you will need to be creative.

Worth the 45 minute drive from Las Vegas

My buddies and I decided to give this course a try based on the reviews. Paid $125 each for a 1:30 pm tee time. Got there a 12:30, but no carts were available at that time. We would’ve liked to hit some balls at the range, but it was not walkable. So we sit at the parking lot for over 30 minutes waiting for a cart. Finally, 15 minutes before our tee time, we got carts and head to the range. The reason it took so long to get carts was because they offer $15 replays. Folks playing earlier in the day were going for another 18 and weren’t giving up their carts. What’s worse, all those replays were ahead of us and we waited at least 15 minutes to teeoff from the 2nd tee box and each one thereafter. It took 3.5 hours to get through the first 9 holes. Finally, after hole 13 we had enough and left after being on the course for almost 6 hours. The staff should consider delaying $15 replays until after 2 pm when there are regular tee times scheduled from noon to 2 p.m.. One of the worst golfing experiences ever.

I recommend that course. Great driving range. Friendly Staff. We started on time. Front 9, the pace was perfect. But the back 9, we waited at each and every hole.

Beautiful course in middle of nowhere. It’s a Nicklaus design so expect it to play difficult, but it’s a tremendous track. No frills clubhouse, but friendly staff. Nothing but positive things to say about everyone I met. Finished in about 4 hrs 15 mins.

It’s an awesome, challenging Nicklaus layout. I play it every chance I get.

We played this as a Hot Deal and received free replay due to pace of play. The first day we played we were 40 minutes late teeing off and a 6 some was out on the course. This made for a miserable time and we did not even finish before dark. Kudos to the course for issuing an apology and a free replay.

The days we played were perfect to golf with almost no wind. The course has first rate practice facilities, I would say they were one the best that I have ever seen. The course is truly a test of golf, with a 149 rating from the tips (7400 yds) A 144 from the blues (6800 yds) , 139 from the whites (6200 yds), The fairways were pure, the traps well maintained and the greens rolled true.

This is a Nicklaus design with severely undulating greens and penal collection areas. They are well bunkered with multiple collection areas, any shot that was not 100% pure would roll off the greens and often times go 30-35 yds away into a collection area or a bunker.

The toughest greens I have ever played. But it was fun. The course is about 50 minutes outside downtown Vegas but worth the trip. Finally enjoy the great layout and supreme grander of the course, It will humble most golfers.

I played Coyote Springs in January 2019. Although the weather was somewhat cold and the wind would go from 15 MPH to 0 MPH, I had an absolutely great time at this course. I was worried about being able to keep the ball on the course due to being surrounded by the desert, but there is actually a lot of room to hit the ball, you just can't tell that from the tees. The bunkers are more of an issue than missing fairways. But, I was just in love with this place, and will definitely come here again, even though it involves a fairly long travel. Had the burger in the cluhouse, and it was awful, but the staff was very nice.

Single, ran into 4 Asian Women on 2nd green, waited on every shot until 5 teebox when I just had to skip the hole drive right by them on the fairway and go to #6, I was pulling up to tee box on 3 while their 1st lady had not teed off. was going fine caught another group on 8 ( no big deal was a pair playing along fine) got to # 10 teebox and I would have been the 5th group on the hole. There was a group on the green, another waiting in the fairway and I would have been the 3rd group waiting on the teebox. NO RANGER ANYWHERE?? Not having time for a 3 hour back 9 I just went back to the club house. Told the pro shop and the could have gave a crap. Said sorry. Will no longer make the 1 hour drive out to this course. By the way there were 11 cars in the parking lot and all trying to play #10 I guess.....
