Sebastian Municipal Golf Course

This course is always a pleasure to play. It is fair and challenging for all levels of golfer

Golf course was in great shape, greens looked good and were very quick, never much to complain about

My Son and I played this course today. Let me start out by saying that we are by far not great players I have a 22 handicap and my son is about a 12 and much better than I. He went to MCC and played on the golf team there when he was in high School around 10 years ago. My father in law is a good golfer and we play a lot with him so we have seen many courses in this area and all around Florida. We have played this course at least a dozen times in the past and it was a nice course. But were we surprised today. The course is not the same. Were not sure who the greens keeper is and who is keeping this course up but it is in horrible shape. All of the grass was cut so low there was no rough everything cut to the same length all of the grass was burnt. Honestly it was like playing in a pasture. With dead grass sprinkled over sand. It is a real shame as we live in Sebastian and the course is just not being taken care of properly. We hit some balls at the Habitat last week and the course looks beautiful. In my opinion the cost to play here is overpriced and not worth it. We got a hot deal and after tax and fees it came out to $31.00 per player. there are just to many beautiful courses in this area to play that are in the same price range. ( Tip save your money)I hope that the correct person reads this and maybe some changes will be made. It is just a tragedy to see a course in this condition. Unfortunately we will not be frequenting the course again until something has changed. Granted $31 a player is a good price this time of year. But I cant see paying it again.

Very windy. Greens are very fast. Nice day except for the wind.

Course was in good shape for the lack of rain we have been experiencing. Pace of play was a bit slow but the weather was perfect and we just watched the skydivers while we waited

Don’t care for the front 9 here, but the back 9 is better. Greens were fast but also inconsistent hole to hole which was frustrating.

Pace of play was slow, some beer bashers with private coolers in front of me tried to play with 2 sets of clubs for 3 players. That’s what you get at Sebastian.

Maybe worth $35 max. Not $52 plus fees I paid.

Yes there’s parachuters constantly. But they also yell commands at each other and it gets annoying.
