Diamond in the rough
Booked this one just looking for something new and wow was I impressed. Great amenities, great staff and great course. At this price point I didn't expect that much... Boy was I wrong. Of your in the area you need to check this place out. You will not regret it!!

Lack of rain evident
Excellent facility and course but the winter and lack of rain has taken its toll on the course especially the greens. Tee boxes were in good condition and the fairways were, as well. Be sure to check on the rates. One day cost half of the day before.
Deer Run
Very disappointed 😞. I have played the other course at Sun n Lakes . This course does not match up with Turtle Run (the other course at Sun n Lakes) plain, wide open and less than average greens.

Sun n Lake Deer
Course priced at over 50 dollars regular price has 0 value.. The greens need to be redone and just after one year of being totally done over.. Sad.. greens offer No undulations no challenge and is like a bowl.. running east to west…

excellent tees fairways very good greens a fun course greens challenging but not too diifficult moderate speed so nice to putt. a pleasant outing
No signs for 18
We played the deer course and almost got in a accident with a car because there are no signs on how to get to 18 after 17. Very very dangerous can't cost that much to put up some signs.

Great layout
I played the turtle course, Greens were pretty good considering the cold weather growing conditions. Bunkers are best around with great sand and always kept up maintenance wise. Perfect layout and yardage for senior golfers.
