Seminole Lake Country Club
About
Seminole Lake Country Club offers a landscape that is lush with native Florida vegetation and wildlife, including a family of American Bald Eagles that have made the golf course home. Formerly known as Cunningham Point, the club has been around since the 1930s. Scenic views of Long Bayou complement the enjoyable round of classic Florida golf. The course is challenging but playable with sand and water hazards coming into play on nearly every hole. The versatile golf course has been host to legends like Arnold Palmer but with five sets of tees it is approachable for a wide range of skill levels. In addition to the golf course, Seminole Lake is equipped with a driving range, short game practice area with a bunker, and two putting greens.

Best Course Around
I moved to St Pete in January and I’ve now played 7 courses between Tampa and St Pete. This course is hands down in the best shape. A little slow pace of play but I 100% recommend to anyone. More technical than lengthy.
Great course , glad I booked it!
Green were super great, fairways were in great condition. The course has a great layout out, good challenges and scenery. Will totally recommend, will play again and again!!!
Lousy Barmaid
Went into have a few beers after playing. Sat down in a chair at the bar, a gentleman walked in behind me and she asked him what he would like. I just figured maybe she had to help the people playing through, to keep them going. When she finished with him, she walked down to the far end of the bar (where the hot dog rotissere is) and started chatting with customers down there, so I said the heck with this. I'ts not like I'm easy to miss, I'm 6'5" 250lbs. I was a member there 06-07 and tell who ever designed your new logo, it looks like crap - like a googled clipart image compared to the old logo design which had a look of class to it. I should know, I'd been a graphic artist/illustrator for the last 45 years.
Barmaid
Went in after playing today, sat down at the bar, someone came in after me looking to take beer out on the course, figured she had to help him first. She finished with him and she just walked down to the other end of the bar, talking to someone down there. I'm 6'5", 240, hard to miss, so I said "The heck with it." Sorry I'm not a member and will now definitely consider Bayou Club over Seminole Lake with their "clip art" logo.
Great Conditions
This course is in excellent shape for this time of year. We play a lot of courses and none are as in good shape as Seminole Lake.
Nice Florida course
With the lack of rain the course is in very good condition a lot of blind tee shots plenty of water on the course the bunkers were a little heavy but all in all very nice layout the staff is extremely friendly
Weekday Round Review - Worth Your Time
So this is a Tuesday morning review.
All in all a very favorable Golfnow Public Course.
I was greeted by a Cart Attendant as I parked, the gent must have had time, and may not always be the case, but I appreciated it.
The young lady in the pro shop checked me in and was also able to get me on the driving range as they were finishing up mowing the range.
The starter told me, as I was warming up that I was welcome to tee off early ahead of a couple groups, but I told him I didn’t mind waiting and ended up getting paired with a fun couple who played ready golf while being relaxed, casual and polite and fun players.
The course itself was in very good condition, and the areas that needed attention were also being tended too (and there honestly weren’t any really bad areas at all). The tee boxes were all very nice and well maintained, the bunkers had nice clean sand (I found one or two of those today!) the greens were firm and I get the speed was pretty good, I’d rate them a medium fast roll.
Other solid aspects of the course, ball washers and bathrooms!!
I really enjoyed the layout, bunkers in some challenging locations, water hazards and out of bounds areas make for smart club selection. The greens aren’t overly challenging, but a few of them will get your attention and are overall in very good condition.
I played from the whites today as that’s where the guy started from and the distance wasn’t too long from there, but you have blue and black for the tips, and red and green out front which his lady played from.
Overall we finished this track in just over 3.5 hours playing ready golf and striking the ball pretty decently.
I’d definitely come back. Give it a try, and people need to realize that if you’re playing on a weekend, expect the weekenders to be out and the play to be slower. That’s just the way it is.
Nice quick track in the morning
Teed off at 7 and was done at 930. Fairways and green are in good shape. Course has a lot of houses. Great for the area and price. Go early.
