4th green. Pretty typical of the course. That’s my ball by the pin from about 190 yds. Not bad, made for eagle. Photo submitted by markmcnwa on 11/20/2019

Chehalem Glenn Golf Course Photo submitted by AllenGoodall on 09/08/2015
Fall Golf in the PNW
Course is very wet and the rough is approximately 6 inches deep. Greens are very slow due to recent aerification. Pace of play was 5 hours for 18.

We apologize for the wet conditions and deep rough at our course. We understand that the recent aerification may have affected the speed of the greens. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
Grass needs mowed
They had aerated the greens a few weeks before I played so the greens were still very bumpy. That was expected. What was not expected was how the bunkers looked like they had not been raked in months. The rough looked like US open conditions as it was thick and had not been mowed in quite a while. The walkways between tee boxes and leading from the cart path to tee boxes were not mowed either so you had to walk through ankle high grass to get to and from tee boxes. Will not play here again unless course conditions improve dramatically.

We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us, chbaker0303. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Chehalem Glenn Golf Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Bad timing
Great was in pretty good shape rough was tough and only problem was playing too soon after airation so a little slow but in a few weeks should be back to speed

Chehalem glenn
One of the most challenging coarses I've ever played. From the back tees it was long and very challenging! Glad we took a cart , very difficult coarse to walk! Looking forward to the challenge again!🤗
Always a good time, some upgrades could make it great!
I love Chehalem Glenn. It always poses unanticipated challenges due to forced carries and dramatic elevation changes. I would like to see some of the tee boxes rebuilt with better composition and drainage so you can avoid hitting off a downhill or side hill lie; or being faced with hitting out of or next to a divot - unrepaiired, of course. The quality of the sand traps is always an issue. In my opinion, I would transform many of the sand bunkers (particularly the ones that line the fairways) into grass bunkers. This should free up some money to put sufficient quality sand into the green side bunkers.
As far as my most recent round is concerned, the fairways and rough were in pretty good condition considering the amount of play and the much hotter than typical summer temperatures. I was particularly happy with the condition of the greens. The rolled smoothly and held nicely, but were cut a little long making them a little slower than I prefer. All things considered another great day at Chehalem Glenn.
Chehalem Glenn Golf Course
Very nice golf course . Lots of elevation changes and requires thinking yourself around the course and not just blasting driver on every hole. The course was well maintained and greens were in excellent condition. Will definitely play again next time I’m in town.

Excellent Course
Chelem Glen is a meticulously kept, beautiful course. There are wide open fairways, challenging hills and valleys and water obstacles, especially on the back nine. It is very peaceful and relaxing to play here. It is seldom crowded and I have never felt rushed. Greens fees are reasonable and competitive. You definitely need a cart for this course unless you are very hardy. The flowers at the tee boxes are beautiful. It is a little out of the way to get here but definitely worth the trip. I highly recommend Chehalem Glen.
