Chehalem Glenn Golf Club sprawls across beautifully hilly terrain, providing a course that is not for the faint of heart. The course is defined by the dramatic changes in elevation, which can make it tough to walk. The steep hills make this a tough golf course even for high handicappers. Uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies abound and you'll also face forced carries to narrow landing areas as well as blind layup shots. The more open front nine is player friendly and the back nine is where it gets tougher with mostly tree-lined holes and more strategically placed bunkers. The golf course is as scenic as it is challenging with elevated tees and greens that overlooks the surrounding hills and valleys. The beauty and difficulty of the course has built Chehalem Glenn Golf Club a reputation as one of the greater Portland area's must-play courses.

Awesome Course
Beautiful course and well maintained. Be ready to get your steps in if you’re walking!
A Bit Hilly But Enjoyable
On our whirlwind adventure through town, we stumbled upon a golf course and thought, “Why not?” The course was in decent shape, like a golf course should be. The greens were slower compared to our usual lightning-fast greens we have in Arizona .
The course threw in some curveballs with carry shots over hills and canyons that made us feel like we were auditioning for a mountain goat role. Luckily, we had a local golf guru with us who had played the course more times than I’ve had hot dinners. Without him, we might have ended up in the canyon, our golf balls and dignity in tatters.
Once a week
Love playing this course, it's challenging and a lot of fun.
Course is great, greens are slow
Fun track that can challenge everyone with the length. I have played here a few times now and it’s always well maintained. The maintenance crew does an excellent job. My only negative here is the greens speeds. They are incredibly slow. They are receptive which is great but the pace is some of if not the slowest I’ve ever played.

It is an excellent course and like to play it a few times a year.
Good Course for the price
This course had friendly staff and good pace of play. It outshines Pumkin Ridge and Reserve for the level of staff support and field marshals for pace of play. The course is well kept and challenging. This is a great course for the price.
great value
A pretty darn challenging layout with plenty of elevation changes. Greens were slow, but otherwise course conditions were excellent
Always Enjoy the Beauty of This Course
This course is in our regular rotation and we play it a couple of times during the golf season. We appreciate the flower boxes and baskets at every tee box and the conditioning of the course is always good. One exception to that is inconsistency of the forward tee boxes as several were not even close to being level and beat up. Also, the positioning of relief stations could be improved upon.
