Chehalem Glenn Golf Club sprawls across beautifully hilly terrain, providing a course that is not for the faint of heart. The course is defined by the dramatic changes in elevation, which can make it tough to walk. The steep hills make this a tough golf course even for high handicappers. Uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies abound and you'll also face forced carries to narrow landing areas as well as blind layup shots. The more open front nine is player friendly and the back nine is where it gets tougher with mostly tree-lined holes and more strategically placed bunkers. The golf course is as scenic as it is challenging with elevated tees and greens that overlooks the surrounding hills and valleys. The beauty and difficulty of the course has built Chehalem Glenn Golf Club a reputation as one of the greater Portland area's must-play courses.

Great course
The course is always in great shape. It beats you up mentally and physically, witch is exactly how it should be. I live a half mile away and enjoy every bit of the course.
Aesthetically Pleasing
From the moment you arrive at this course, your senses will be entertained by all of the bountiful blooms beautiful landscaping. The course conditions were excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful, the course was fair and inviting and the pace of play was kept by regular appearances by the marshals. The only complaint I have was that there was no relief station on the front nine.
Great course
This course has amazing value for what you pay. I felt a little rushed but over all had a great time.

Great Value
The course is always in great condition and the staff is great. There are some visually intimating holes that aren’t as difficult as they appear from the tee box. Good challenge for intermediate to good golfers.

Summer might me on the way?
On a perfect weather Thursday the course played like a champion. Well groomed greens and trimmed fairways made this for the most enjoyable day of golf this year. The pace was good for most of the day until we hit number 10, not a problem since the issue were older golfers. I’m also there so I cannot bash older, but I can make a plug for younger golfers unaware of the etiquette of playing up to the group in front of you! Keep the pace!

Challenging Beauty
Come correct early on this course because it don’t get any easier as you go. Great layout, many challenges including tight layups on par 4s, elevation changes and plenty of penalty areas in case you need more to think about. Friendly staff and a good pace of play too. I’ll be back
Elation at elevation
This course is a great track at a reasonable price. I will have to get in better shape to walk it next time, though. The elevation changes were marvelous for play, but not for walking. Get the power cart and enjoy the views from tee to landing area.
long and steep
great course. best greens I've played in the portland area. somehow they are fast while still being soft enough to land a ball on without bouncing off.
note to others his course is long with lots of hills. I clocked it at 7.44 miles with 466 feet of vertical ascension. if your not used to long hilly conditions i would recommend a cart.

Good day for golf
First off, I was almost late for my tee time because the address provided through GolfNow took me to the back of the course inside a subdivision. After I searched on line, the directions got me to the clubhouse about 5 minutes later.
The course was ok. Still nice, but the weather challenged the mowers this week. Fairways were a little shaggy. Greens and fringe were great. THere was one group holding up play about 3 groups ahead of us. It could have been a little faster. Overall this is a great course to play and a good value. Staff is excellent.
Diamond in the rough
Back nine is amazing. Away from it all with a picturesque backdrop. Front nine in a neighborhood but still great layout. Greens were in great shape. Sand traps were unattended to. That’s the only negative.
