Chehalem Glenn Golf Club

Got to play Chehalem Glenn for only $13 thanks to GolfNow.com. Weather was perfect and the course was in good shape. The tee boxes, fairways and rough were well laid out and in great shape. On course greens were much, much slower than the putting greens. I had heard from a friend about the terrain here, only those in excellent shape should attempt walking this course, hills and gullies everywhere. There are a couple holes that require you to hit blind shots, having someone in your group that's played there before is a big help. Overall, I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10 and will be returning.

Great deal and lovely day for golf. Challenging course to really think about each shot, loved it. Highly recommend intermediate golfers try this course. Not for beginners!

Really great course for the value. Just don't try to walk it your first time! It's very hilly and there are some distances between a green and the next tee. Know the course before you decide you want to walk.

Great Staff, good carts and the course is good for all skill levels. Course is in really solid condition right now.

This one is not for the beginner and I recommend the use of cart if you are not comfortable with a lot of walking in hills especially on a warm day. Overall I enjoyed my 1st round of golf on well kept course. I had fun with interestingly designed layout with mainly bunkers, but not much water hazards. Nice views also along many holes considering many downhill/uphill T shots. I will come back and recommend this course.

the course layout is good for weekend golfers where your hold up on the next hole.

They must have just aerated this course and then dumped the TONS of very deep dirt clumps all along the edges of the fairway traps. If you hit a ball and it went anywhere near these traps, you lost a ball, because if it went into these clumps along the edges of the trap, the dirt was dry but very thick & deep so the ball would go in easily and be too hard to find. This course is always very challenging to play so this added burden surely didn't help! They should have at least given a discount, if they didn't have time to clear that all out, because it is also very pricey!

Course has a number of short par 4s in which the tee shot is played across deep ravines. For these holes a straight tee ball with moderate carry is essential. Par 3s are solid with the exception of the 13th which I am told has been playing to a "temp" green for the better part of a year. Par 5s are good holes without being overly long. Will play course again but not one of my favorites in the area.

This is the eighth most difficult course in Oregon and should be very crowded, but is in a remote area so many people don't think about playing here. the course is long, but the fairways are generous. I played this course for 15 bucks! What a steal!

Got a great Hot Deal for two of us. Considering all the prior rain, it plays very good in the fairways as well as the greens. The greens were in excellent shape. Where as most of the bunkers were in tough shape with wash outs, etc. As usual, this course is kept in great shape, even in the winter.

This is my home course and one of my favorites. Keep in mind it's winter and rained throughout my round with no breaks. The rough was brutal, +2 clubs due to weather. 2 balls plugged, but to be expected. Fairways were drenched even with the course's good drainage. Sand traps were unplayable, and the fairway trap on 10 has leaked into the fairway. Greens were slow, but smooth. Overall great playability considering the weather. Other than Langdon, probably the only course that is even playable in the willamette valley

For the amount of rain the course was pretty solid with very good conditions for this time of the year

Love this course. Very challenging yet fair. Staff is awesome and pleasant to deal with. If you're looking for easy this isn't it however, average golfer can shoot well if they play it smart. Looking forward to my next visit.

the course will make you "think your way around it!", and use "all: of your clubs!! GREAT CHALLENGE

My golf group plays here 4 or 5 times a year. We get carts and play 18. Usually we spend $50 or so a piece for golf, food, and drinks. Pretty reasonable for 4 retired guys.
We used a Groupon recently, and at the last minute a guy dropped out. I asked Brandon at the desk if I could get a raincheck for 18 holes. Not money back, just a credit and we'd all come back and play again some day.
I thought that was reasonable and good customer service. Brandon didn't agree and refused the raincheck. That poor customer service sort of spoiled the round for us.
Over the course of the round, we decided there were plenty of golf courses around, and we'd take out recreational money elsewhere.
Brandon's decision to not work with us cost the course around $1000 per year that we would spend there. That's quite a bit of money compared to the simple act of offering a raincheck.

The best thing that I have always raved about this course is the playing conditions! From tee to green conditions are great! If this course was any closer to I5... wouldn't be able to walk on.
Best bang for the buck. When I take time to go play, I play there!

A lot of hills and valleys, greens are challenging, course in great shape. Have your "A" game on!

Tee'd off at 6:45am...first off with only having to wait for the groundskeepers to finish preparing a few holes! Very friendly staff. Beautiful weather with the hot air balloons taking off over the course. Challenging course, but also offers huge opportunities for birdies. Course was in great shape and well kept up by the staff.

Great course and speed of play was outstanding. I was really looking forward to renting golf boards but they were all checked out..

Loved this course. It was is great condition. Walking it was tough.
The staff was awesome. From the phone call to change the tee time to first greeting to the state and marshals. All were excellent. I'll be back for sure!
