Great with a discount.
If you have a hot deal hard to beat. Lots of sand traps.
You gotta keep it in play to score
I ended up playing this course on a lark due to having an appointment in the Spring Hill area. Since it was only 1:30 and I was done I decided to check out GolfNow and saw this course was 10 minutes away and had a great nine-hole rate. I had heard that this course was designed by Arnold Palmer so I was glad to try it out. I went off on one and was able to play nine holes with no one in front of me in about 75 minutes (I wasn't playing fast either as I would drive up on several holes to see how the hole was laid out on most approach shots). The course itself is short, but tricky. It being my first time out and not being sure where to hit shots (and not hit them) I proceeded cautiously and hit some mulligans if I had too much club or hit it in what I thought was the right area but was wrong about. There are tons of sand traps and water to add that extra degree of difficulty. If you're good with your short irons you can eat the par 3's up. I was having a really good day and was actually one under on them (don't think that will happen too often). It was the Par 4's that gave me fits. Was able to score a 37 (par 35) and will try to play all 18 the next time I'm over that way. The pro, Neill was also really cool and gave me a coupon I plan to use for a discounted round.
Kings Creek
Was a good day with the exception of the foursome in front of us...
Course is in good shape - staff is amazing!!
This is a good challenge
Great course with big greens, bunkers galore, and trouble on every hole.
Good shots rewarded and bad ones severely penalized.
Great Public Course
My home course. I live across the street. Prices are reasonable for
the most part.
Overpriced for Condition of the Course
Have played this course now about 8 times. The greens have gone downhill as this used to be a strength of the course but the greens had not been cut for weekend play making them incredibly slow. They have just about lost the putting green as it looks like a fungus has set in. The general upkeep of the course seems to have deteriorated over the past year and yet they still keep asking a premium cost. There are other courses in the Nashville area that are in much better condition for the money. Can't put my finger on it but is seems they are playing off the "Arnold Palmer" name too much. Hope it can make a comeback as the layout is pretty decent.
Level tee boxes and rest of course well maintained.
The pace of play was perfect for a sunny Saturday afternoon. The fairways, greens and bunkers were in good condition.
Very nice course with challenges
The course is in very good shape and well maintained. There is a lot of sand which can pose problems but very fair. There is a need for a lot of carry over bunkers and/or water particularly on par 3's and some approach shots....accuracy on most par 3's is a must. During the week, play is 3 to 3.5 hours a round...slower on Friday's and weekends. Overall this course is a very good value particularly through Golf Now deals.
Great course!
This is a great shot makers track with the best bunker layout in the area. There is also the creek running throughout the course that is seemingly always where you hit an errant shot. A really nice test for players that want to challenge their ability to shape shots and control distance. If you can't control your golf ball, better bring your waders and beach clothes!
Multiple tee boxes for different skill levels
The course is in good condition. The green fees are a little high for courses in this area and the food and beverage prices were also high.
overall great track and a great value via golfnow.
Course looks great. Greens are nice and full. Tee boxes are excellent. To play this course for $24 via golfnow is a steal. Took a star away due to pace of play. The golf course was busy but the group ahead of us had a four year old they were allowing to play out. I'm all for juniors playing but that's a little young for a place like The Creek. Especially on a busy day. Figured one of the roving officials would've suggested they perhaps let the young man play when they got close to the greens. Stopping and starting for 10+strokes on the fairway is a bit much. That said, still had a blast.
A well designed layout for all skill levels.
Kings creek was an overall great experience for me and my group.
Really enjoyed the layout witch made for a challenging but fair round of golf. Greens were in great shape as well as the fairways.
I would definitely recommend this course, and can't wait to have another crack at it.
Great greens.
Greens were in great shape. Staff was friendly. Great value and pace of play.
Great condition
I really enjoy playing this course. Great design and layout. You can see the obvious attention to course layout and detail. Really enjoy playing here even though it's got one bad ball-eating creek running through it!
This course needs some real rangers
Took way to long to play the back nine. Really it was slow from the first tee on. But really bad on the back nine. The group in front of us was playing for money when it was taking them 3,4,5 shots to get out of the bunker. Ranger would have been nice to step in seeing that us yelling at them, and then hitting on to them did not seem to work.
Lots of Sand
Fun course to play. Many bunkers. Unusual to have 6 par 3's. Course was still dormant when played.
Nice layout
Course has six par three's and four par five's so it is a par 70 course. Overall, it is a fun track to play with a wide variety of holes. My friend and I were returning home from the RTJ golf trail and this was a nice place to play and would return again someday in the future if we are nearby.
challenging course with unique holes
tough course from the blues if you arent a long hitter. lots of +400 yard par 4s and long carrys over sand traps.
Great day for golf
Had a great time at Kings Creek. Greens are in great condition! Nice speed, but not excessively fast. Pace of play was excellent for our foursome. Looking forward to more December golf out there.
