I would have been nice if we had known that only the front nine was open and it have been that way for 2 months. Had to play the front nine twice for the price of 18
Fun course
Fun course. Not long. Requires accurate tee shot on several holes. Greens are a little rough but playable. Several greens had bare spots. Fairways were recently overseeded, so they were a little shaggy. I would play it again for the price we paid. ( ~$35/pp for 18 holes w/cart)
“ over rated pace of play”
I came to this course by myself trying to just get away for a little bit get through the first nine holes in about two hours the grounds keep comes up to me and tells me the course is a 2 1/2 hour play and he wants to go home. I understand when you want to go home after a long day, but telling a client that they’re pace of play is too long is ridiculous. I love the layout of this course and it is well-kept, but the mere fact of a staff member telling me they want to go home and they’re waiting on me after two hours of play is crazy I won’t be playing here again do not play the afternoon because “ they want to go home and don’t want to wait for you to bring the cart back.” as much as I love the course I won’t be returning on the count of the staff I’d rather go to a worse course and then have someone tell me my pace is too slow. There’s still plenty of sunlight could’ve played for another hour, but it got rushed through the last nine holes.
Usually very good, but...
I really like this course a lot, but course conditions today were a bit rough. Possibly weather damage, but fairways were a little thin and a number of the greens were a bit patchy. I'm sure I'll be back again, though, after they've had a chance to recoup.
Disappointed
First, the good. Pace was great. I had the entire course to myself. Practiced with 2 balls, and finished in 3 hours. I had a 1 p.m. t-time. Showed up early. Wasn't rushed & teed off early. Also, the bunkers were outstanding. Now, for the rest of the story. I really like the layout of the course. And I played it last November and it was in pretty decent (not pristine) shape. So I was naturally disappointed when saw the current conditions. The rough & Fairways were okay, except for the crab 🦀 grass growing rampant throughout the course. Greens had huge bad (unplayable) spots on nearly every green. For me, I'd go back once every couple of weeks just to practice. And only for the right price ($20-25). But, I couldn't recommend it for anyone else. I did speak to a employee when I returned my cart. He acknowledged the issues (which I respected). And explained reasonably how management is working to correct them. I believed him & will come back from time to time, as long as I can see improvement.
Plugged greens
The greens had just been aerated and the grounds crew did not do a good job of fertilizing and sanding. Otherwise, the course was in great shape and I would vemuch like to return when the greens have recovered. As it was, this Hot Deal was anything but.
Pace of Play
Showed up at 7:15am for a solo 9 holes. Starter sent me to the back 9. Played it in exactly 1 hour (alone, with cart). When i got to 18 i asked if i could go again, starter sent me right back. Quickest 18 ive played in a while. Course was well maintained too!
Nice Day
We had a great time and the course is nice. Couple of bad spots on some greens but well worth the time.
Good golf course
Course was in good shape. Shot 75 so I know a decent course when I’m playing one.
Nice course, good greens.
Great layout, very challenging holes especially 18 with a narrow fairway. Unfortunately there was a foursome 5 groups ahead of us that had 3 holes open in front of them. My group and the other 3 in front of us had to wait to hit on every tee and in the fairways and likewise for the groups behind us. I'm sure it is not normally like that there and would go back to play it again.

Great course for the money, layout is fun and not a whole lot of trouble. Definitely will return to play again.
