Needs a Bit Of Work
!st I want to say we love the course and layout. It needs some work on the fairways & T boxes, lots of places where the grass is sparse. There were a couple of greens that had unputtable spots as well. It could just be that it is suffering from a lot of use over high season and needs to recoup.

Wait a few weeks to give them a chance to fix problems
The course conditiions varied from OK to unplayable. I understand that we have not had adequate rainfall lately, so the holes that were just OK I can accept. However, the irrigation system apparent needs repair and the course has not been properly watered. Greens had damaged areas on them. Some fairways had more weeds than grass or had bare spots. There was no doubt that the course really needed water. Several tee boxes were also bare, but at least we could tee it up to get off of the dirt.
I would play this course again if I knew the course conditions were back to a reasonable standard.
We love the course layout
Some of the green's, are in need of repair.
Overall, we love this course and will play again in the near future.
Nice course for the public
Nice course,back nine eaiser than front,my opinion!
For the price...a solid choice.
Course needs a lot of work
They have lost a lot of the greens. Big patches with no grass. Didn’t have a single putt all day they didn’t have to go through a dirt patch. Rough is mostly weeds and fairways have a lot of weeds as well.
The course layout is nice and the staff is friendly.
Make your own opinion
Paired up with nice guys, lots of laughs. Greens, fairways,, rough needs some TLC. Bunkers were okay. Staff inside and outside are great. Carts are good. Please make your own judgment as far as the conditions.
Nice Easter Sunday round of golf.
Very few groups on the course due to it being Easter. No one in front or behind me as I was a single. Course in good shape, greens were good to very good, a few had some patches but didn't hurt overall. Fairways on most holes had good grass and the ball sat up. There were a few with thin grass area but overall a decent course for the money. Had some challenging holes for sure.
The course is in in good shape. It is a friendly course for mid to high handicappers. Very enjoyable to play.
Heinously slow
The twosome we were paired with didn't show and we were stuck behind the slowest foursome on the planet. Even the threescore behind us were held up. Waited on every single shot.
At the turn, the slow pokes were two holes behind and not for one nanosecond did it occur to them to let us play through. We left after the nine - never to return.
Disappointed
I was very disappointed when I made the turn at 9:00 a.m. only to find out they had released a league on the back side in front of us who were making the turn. What would have been a very enjoyable round of golf turned into a slog. Probably won't do this again!
Good value
We are staying in the Villages and Spruce Creek is just outside. This course is in better shape than anything available in the Villages and much cheaper as well.
