Cheap golf
This has become my home course over the last year. It’s a good course for cheap golf. The pace is kinda slow on certain days, the greens are pretty awful, and the course location is nothing great. There’s constantly people walking through fairways that live next to the course. A lot of the workers are kinda rude and sometimes in the way on the course
Great Great GREAT TIME!!!!
We had a wonderful time. Challenging course great flow outstanding design. We will definitely be coming back!
Nice municipal course-- great for practice
This is a city run 9 hole course. It is not a par 3 course as there are a few par 5s and par 4s throughout.
Greens are in excellent conditions! I was actually surprised with how good they were (except for the 1st hole). Fairways were in average condition and tee boxes were a little less than average with signs of divots and lots of play. Pretty easy course to play with little hazards, no houses to hit, and wide open fairways. Great place to practice your short irons and wedges.
Biggest issue with this course was the speed of play. Extremely slow walkers and other golfers taking their sweet time! Took absolutely forever on a course that really shouldn't take that long!!
There is 1 bathroom on the course, no cart girl, no water that you can hit into (there is one hole with water halfway that you have to hit over, and overall not really that difficult of a course.
What Happened to the Greens?!?!
Used to be a great value. 9 holes. $10 to walk for 9 or 18. Course is easy but was good for working on your game. Greens were always ridiculously nice for being a cheap city-owned course. Greens just disappeared at the beginning of the summer. Sand and weeds. Impossible to putt on. It wasn't aeration. You would have to pay me to putt on those greens at this point.
Can't beat it for $10
It's $10 to walk nine holes or 18. It's owned by the county, and is maintained fairly well. The course itself is pretty basic, but it's in good enough shape to practice your game cheaply every now and again. The greens were actually in pretty decent shape when I played it and your value for what you pay to play here is excellent. It's not Augusta National but it's a good deal for the money.
