About
Grayslake Golf Course is a sporty par-3, nine-hole layout that has appeal for golfers of all skill levels. It's a great place for beginners or juniors who want to get some practice but it's also a quick, affordable round for more seasoned golfers. No matter what skill level, you'll get plenty of practice with your short game. The golf course is only 1,200 yards in length but you can still expect strategically placed bunkers and berms along the subtly undulating greens. The holes range from 100 to 165 yards in length. Grayslake Golf Course weaves through protected wetlands. The water is deftly incorporated into the design. The mounding is also a defining feature of the course. Not only do they add interest to each putt but they can also defect slightly errant shots back toward the target.

I haven’t been playing for two years. And almost 80 years old. This course fits me perfectly to get my shape back. Attendees were very kind. I’ve been enjoying this course so much. Thank you.

You can leave your woods behind this is strictly an iron course. Lots of water challenging but fun.

Nice course, all par 3 most of it over water. If you need to practice your irons and short game this is the place to go.

This is nice course to work on your short game. The course was in great shape. I always love playing here.
Best value for money I've found this year
Everyone is extremely friendly. Course conditions were good. Lots of water and wetland hazards but the way they're positioned it's pretty low risk overall. There's ball washers every hole, club washers, cold water at two of the nine holes. I got my round on a $12 hot deal but normally it's $18, but you can replay for $11 so not bad at all. Can pay extra for a pull cart if you want. Putting/chipping green available. Pro shop is a small building and has the basics so remember to bring your own snacks. Wish I found this place at the beginning of the year because my son and I would've come here quite a bit. Great place to bring a new or young golfer!

The course is very well taken care of and the staff are very professional and polite.

Perfect still course for people that are beginning. Extremely fun, great staff and friendly people. Great for practicing irons.

The golf course is very challenging for a short game and very well maintained. There are a lot of hills and water challenges.
Great little course!
Really enjoyed this nine hole course! All three bars and no long fairways. Really got a chance to play my shorter game. Had some nice water features and sand traps. Course was in really good shape. It’s a walker, but is laid out fairly simply, and for my first time through Only repeated one hole accidentally!! I recommend
