Great condition for March and the price through Golfnow.com was great.
No complaints. The course was in very good condition considering it's still early in the season. Will look forward to going back later in the season once the fairways start to green up. I've played here about 6 times now in the last couple of years and the course is always in great shape.
Heritage Hill is a challenging, fun, poor man's Vahalla.
We played on a rare, pretty March day and the course was in phenominal shape. The greens were fast and fair and the sand traps were playable. We had a great afternoon of golf.
The Hill
A great track that just needs some consistent warm weather
Always fun to play. Very challenging.
Heritage Hill never disappoints. The course is always well-maintained and fun to play. The pace of play is good.
Good, fun golf course
I would recommend playing this course because it is a very fun layout.
One of the most beautiful courses in the area.
The course was in great condition with the exception of a few conditions. The bunkers were extremely wet and had not been raked, making for very difficult shots with them being as deep as they were. Also, the fairways were a little dry, and it had just rained the day before. This is by far, one of the most eye-appealing courses in the area.
Friendly staff--well maintained.
Very pleased when we played there. Great price, great course. Only drawback location from Louisville but worth the drive.
nice track
the course has an interesting mix of holes and terrain; some wooded and some links-like. the greens and bunkers are are excellent and well maintained. i will play here again.
Two cup system, aka Sleepy Hollow, is in play
Tees and fairways are dormant but playable. You will find a mixture of lies though. Some thin and some fluffy. Most bunkers are in decent shape. Rough was clumpy. Did not care for the greens as they were the hit and hope variety. Slow and plenty of imperfections. They have two cups and the flag alternates between groups. I'm assuming this is done to balance traffic on the greens and reduce maintenance intervals this fall and winter. I hate it! Could not tell you how many times we had a blue flag in a front position or a red flag in a back position. Better bring the range finder.
Excellent layout and great deals
I love playing Heritage Hill. The par #3's are the best in the area. Your hole is your hole which makes for a great experience. The course is in great condition. I think it's in the top 2 public courses in the area along with Champions Point in Indiana.
Good course for all area of your game, other than water.
I really enjoyed this course and its challenges. Play was a little slow but other than that we enjoyed it.
Always fun to play Heritage Hill
It's not often to say you had a great time with beautiful scenery and still played poorly. But that's what you get with Heritage Hill. It is in great shape right now. Greens were very fast and some truly diabolical pin positions. It's like playing 18 separate courses.
pretty
fun course lots of challenge fun to play nice view and varitey of shots not overbooked
fast greens nice scenary
Course layout is great--set in rolling hills, with creeks and lakes
Course is fun to play
The greens are large and undulating
Green speed is on the fast side so watch those downhill putts
Fairways are in great shape even with the drought we've had
Nice 19th hole
Great coarse
Coarse was in great shape fairways and greens very nice
Beautiful Course
Heritage Hill is truly one of the finest public courses in the state of Kentucky. Great location for Louisville residence as well as the rest of Northern Kentucky. I've played as many courses as possible in the past year and Heritage Hill stands at the top of all of my lists. From the great staff to beautifully manicured greens, fairways, bunkers and tee boxes, its truly a magnificent golf course. I can't wait to play there again!!!
Excellent Golf Course
This golf course stays in outstanding condition. The holes are away from each other and each have their own unique feel to them. Staff is very friendly and inviting. I recommend this course to anyone.
One of the best in the Louisville area, although some signs of deterioration
Played a late August round, expecting recent cooler weather to have the course rebounding from a dry Summer. Fairways and teeboxes were in usual good condition - the greens were beat up. Rampant damage caused by golfers not-repairing ball marks and inconsistent speed. Bunkers and collars also were very spotty - needing to be raked, levelled or mowed.
Would hope that this does not indicate that Heritage Hills is struggling - too nice of a layout to let maintenance go!
Greens need attention from player abuse.
I was not able to make the sliders move above. I would have made a couple of slight changes. The main thing I notice about HH is that the people who play there evidently don't care for the condition they leave the greens in. I have never played at such a premium course that the players simply refuse to repair their ball marks on the greens. This fairly new course's greens are already pockmarked with unfixed ball marks and players simply refuse to use the sand provided to fix divots in fairways. The staff is proficient at taking care of the course it seems the people who play there are not.
