Solid Course
First time playing course, found layout to be in very good condition (especially greens) and a good challenge, with generous fairways but small greens. I have played several other courses in the Ocean City MD/Bethany Beach DE area, and I found The Rookery a bit easier than Ocean Pines and the Newport Bay course at Ocean City Golf Course. I would play course again.
Great course play your tees
I am between blues and white tees and played blues and loved it. Only down side was I booked for one and made me group with a threesome
The Rookery
Great course in good condition except the construction on the route 1 side. We had a great time and the staff were friendly. I would recommend this course.
Nice course, bring bug spray
Played early Saturday. Nice course and layout.
Very buggy. You will need bug spray.
Water coolers every few holes were a nice touch.
SLOW
I love this course, but the groups playing in front of our foursome, were slow, over 5 hours is too long, waiting on every shot.
I am sure it will be better next time.

Nice course
Started off questionable when checking in. Guy behind the counter was not very friendly and more importantly not helpful. Mentioned it was my 1st time there and was told carts are outside.. you don't say..there not in the pro shop.... carts were easy to find so no big deal, found my way to 1st tee and group i was supposed to play with and off we went to a nice round. Not super challenging but the course was in good shape. I would recommend playing there if your not easily offended by proshop!
Great place to play when at the Delaware Beaches
Came to the Delaware beaches for vacation and wanted to play. This course came recommended through positive reviews. I wholeheartedly agree with everyone. Really enjoyed the course and didn't feel rushed at all. I will absolutely come back
Good round for money
Was on vacation and got paired up with 3 other players. One happens to be a member there. Good group of guys. I played from the tips. There are a few short holes on front nine, no need to hit driver. Some good dog legs that make you place your tee shots and other holes that are risk and reward. Rough is not thick and you can't get in much trouble. Would go back for sure.
Great Vacation Round
As usual, I booked a twosome on vacation. It was the first time I got to actually play as a twosome with no pushback from the staff. We all know sometimes on vacation you just want to avoid other people. Enough said. Course was beautiful. Layout was great and course was perfectly manicured. Pace was off due to a few walkers and caused a few backups. No Ranger for keeping pace. But no worries. Nice mix of short and long holes. Water, sand and trees kept it challenging. Great course and staff. Highly recommend!!
Better than last year but still needs more grounds maintenance
Course was very dried out. Needs more watering. Greens in good shape. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating
Fun afternoon
Course was in good shape and the pace of play was quicker than expected.
