Great Vacation Round
As usual, I booked a twosome on vacation. It was the first time I got to actually play as a twosome with no pushback from the staff. We all know sometimes on vacation you just want to avoid other people. Enough said. Course was beautiful. Layout was great and course was perfectly manicured. Pace was off due to a few walkers and caused a few backups. No Ranger for keeping pace. But no worries. Nice mix of short and long holes. Water, sand and trees kept it challenging. Great course and staff. Highly recommend!!

Watch your slice!
The Rookery had a good deal of water hazards which will make you want to watch your slice! You have to play smart and ensure you hit your targets. The grass lining all the water hazards are pretty low, so don’t count on rough to save the balls that take a odd bounce or are rolling too! If you see a hazard, you may want to lay up! Fun layout that’ll keep u on your toes.
Watch out on the first hole, the driving range balls bleed into it a bit-could use a net to catch those there.
