About
White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park is a challenging but playable layout that is well known amongst locals. At just over 7,000 yards, the golf course offers a fair amount of challenges. Water hazards come into play on most holes, demanding several difficult forced carries. There are also some spots on the course that can be quite narrow. The terrain is mostly flat but the layout provides enough diversity to appeal to both low and high handicappers. White Clay Creek has a strong reputation not only for the golf course but also for its various amenities, which give it the feel of a private club. Staff assists you with getting your clubs to and from your car and use of the driving range and chipping green are included in the reasonable fee.

Great spot! Found under repair at the moment…
Normally a very nicely manicured spot that rarely doesn’t have a tee time. I love the green speed and how challenging this track is for sure! The only thing happening now because of recent heavy rain it looks like some hill sides were washed out. A lot more ground under repairs than usual. Lastly 16 will play as a par three rather than the traditional Par 4. Back to back par 3s as 17 is one as well.
Best course in Wilmington area. Best practice area. Fast greens. Very challenging Tracy. Must bring your A game.

Challenge yourself
Tough, long and beautiful course. Every shot requires thought and execution. Play from the Blues and grind it out. Fairways are perfect, greens are firm and rolling. Score low here and be proud.

I usually love playing this course, but I'm not a fan of courses that charge full price when the greens have been recently air raided. Also the fairways r extremely wet the golf ball was plugging on just about every tee shot. Would definitely wait a few weeks before playing this course

Enjoyable round
The course is in great condition tee to green. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I teed off as a single at 4:00 pm and joined another single at the turn, we finished the round in 3 hours 20 minutes. There was an Ambassador and beverage cart that we saw several times. Golf the way it should be.

Best course in the area
Great course. Can get congested a bit because it is difficult, but always love playing here.

Cart path only is killer
It was cart path due to rains but
Yikes it’s tuff regardless
I’ll return again but when it’s NOT cart path only
Fabulous layout and the greens are just a blast
Great course and the marshals where thereto maintain pace and to ensure a 4 1/4 hr play

Good Track
Upon arrival the bag drop is out front, easier to walk from each side of the clubhouse to the pro shop which is on the lower level. Young lady behind the counter was pleasant and guided us through the process, carts have your time on them. Practice facility is top notch all grass free balls. Short game area was a bonus. Course was tough for group that had never played it and the GPS was nice but visually it’s tough on certain holes to know what right and what’s going to kill you. Rangers out in force which was good, and beverage cart (2) kept us hydrated. Toughest track I’ve played in a while, need your A game

5 stars if pace of play wasn’t over 5 hours
Everything about the course was top notch, except they allowed a 3 group outing to play way too slow causing us to wait on almost every shot and a round over 5 hours. No ranger on a Saturday afternoon is unacceptable.

Beautiful course, VERY well-run facility
White clay creek is a beautiful course and is very well run. There are numerous staff members the moment you pull into the lot eager to assist you and guide you through your round. The course itself it meticulously kept with the greens, fairways and rough all in prestige condition. They do a great job expertly managing the tee times so we never had to wait for players ahead of us or feel rushed by anyone behind us even on a peak Summer weekend. Would highly recommend this course for a great day of golf.
