White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park

Course was in great shape. Complementary range balls before your round included in the price. Starter was friendly and rangers checked in every now and then to see how things were going. Beverage cart was a nice touch on a Wednesday morning. The course challenges you to think about your shot and place your ball in an area that will make your next shot easier. Greens were true and very few ball marks, if any. The GPS in the carts was helpful as well. It was cart path only to begin the round but by the 3rd hole a notification popped up on the screen that it was now 90 degrees. Pace of play was fast given it was a weekday morning but it’s obvious as to why it may be slow during busier times. Decent drive between holes but the directions to the next hole are clearly marked. Overall would recommend giving this course a shot. Friendly staff made the experience that much better.

Course layout makes you think about layups.

I’ll NEVER play this course again!!!! Four times the marshals annoyed us to “speed it up”! There was no one waiting for us to hit their next shot, didn’t understand what the hurry was all about! . After the first two holes there was no one waiting on us! . Totally wrecked my back nine, The course is very difficult, you really need yardages to determine go for it or lay up!! Plus they had four cart path only and the cart ropes were about 60 yards from the green!!! Lots of walking involved! The guys behind us were staff! Like I said they didn’t wait on us after the second hole!! Didn’t understand the problem!! Great course, I won’t be back!!!

I had a 1 pm tee time. there was an outing earlier in the day. We teed off right at 1 pm with 2 others and was asked to keep the pace of play. Pace of Play was slow but acceptable. We waited a couple of minutes at each tee box. Ranger was visible.

The gents behind us we not very patient. They hit up on us twice, apologized, but constantly showed up at our tee box every time we teed off. Finally on the 12th hole they hit 3 balls onto the short fairway while 2 of our three we still there.

I called the pro shop and the pro arrived just after words were exchanged on the 13th tee box. The pro addressed the issue. The group behind us left the course and we had no issues on the rest of our round.

Excellent service under the circumstances.

I love this place!

Played behind two outings and ranger had nerve to tell us to pick up the pace. When there were one contest or another on several holes ahead of us. The ranger decides to let his dog chase the geese in the pond for another 15 minutes on a par 3. Course was nice this time. Dried out from the rain

Course was soggy due to rain over the last few days, but the greens were firm and dry. Excellent drainage.

I found the course to be tough length from some of the white tees. I loved the layout; careful planning on where to hit and how far to hit required on a few holes.

Greens were excellent and a bit fast.

I will go back again.

The staff was fantastic, range n practice area was outstanding... challenging but somehow I made four pars n lost two balls. What a beautiful course layout... can’t wait to go back!❤️⛳️

This facility has everything you would hope for in a golf course - great clubhouse, well stocked pro shop, beautiful locker room, fabulous practice area with practice traps and chipping green, electric powered carts, interactive GPS, and a great layout. This course checks all the boxes. It also has a beautiful dining room and bar, which, unfortunately is never open after we finish our round.

The course was in good condition. The greens had been recently punched and sanded, but they rolled well. A fun course to play, but don’t go from the back tees, and bring lots of balls.

Everything about this course is great, greens just need another week or two to grow in.

Course was in very nice condition. My only complaint was that we were paired up with other golfers. They said it was mandatory yet we saw many other singles out on the course. Why could we not then go out as a 2 some? Something is wrong with that. Also no cart girl at all.

There is only one reason not not to play this course and that is bad weather. I highly recommend playing this course but not on a very windy day unless you can hit the ball a ton. Even though my self esteem is somewhere on the back nine I can't wait to get back there and hopefully finding it. it's a great way to kill 4 or 5 hours and an ego. Yes Virginia, there is a bar with a happy hour.

Course condition was a bit messy. Lots of sticks on course. This is related to the time of yesr March so I would expect come May it will b vleaned up. Overall i like the course

Course was fantastic. Pace was slow with a twosome in front of us and then many home open. No ranger or any indication on cart screen that we were playing slow. The greens were also aerated and filled with sand. I felt like I was in the shore. Puttable though. Should be very nice come late spring and summer. Looking forward to play again!

Soggy but expected. Course in good shape considering

Always are great place to play, only complaint was the rough was extremely long making balls hard to find, but that was due to rain in the area. Fairways in great shape, little construction around the greens with new sod, but greens rolled well. Probably best practice facilities on any public course, free balls, 1 putting green, 2 chipping greens, and sand bunkers are in great shape to practice out of. Challenging layout but well worth it .
