About
White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park is a challenging but playable layout that is well known amongst locals. At just over 7,000 yards, the golf course offers a fair amount of challenges. Water hazards come into play on most holes, demanding several difficult forced carries. There are also some spots on the course that can be quite narrow. The terrain is mostly flat but the layout provides enough diversity to appeal to both low and high handicappers. White Clay Creek has a strong reputation not only for the golf course but also for its various amenities, which give it the feel of a private club. Staff assists you with getting your clubs to and from your car and use of the driving range and chipping green are included in the reasonable fee.

Great weather-slow play
Played behind two outings and ranger had nerve to tell us to pick up the pace. When there were one contest or another on several holes ahead of us. The ranger decides to let his dog chase the geese in the pond for another 15 minutes on a par 3. Course was nice this time. Dried out from the rain

Great Course, Great Time
Course was soggy due to rain over the last few days, but the greens were firm and dry. Excellent drainage.
I found the course to be tough length from some of the white tees. I loved the layout; careful planning on where to hit and how far to hit required on a few holes.
Greens were excellent and a bit fast.
I will go back again.

Outstanding six star facility..
The staff was fantastic, range n practice area was outstanding... challenging but somehow I made four pars n lost two balls. What a beautiful course layout... can’t wait to go back!❤️⛳️

Everything You Need
This facility has everything you would hope for in a golf course - great clubhouse, well stocked pro shop, beautiful locker room, fabulous practice area with practice traps and chipping green, electric powered carts, interactive GPS, and a great layout. This course checks all the boxes. It also has a beautiful dining room and bar, which, unfortunately is never open after we finish our round.
The course was in good condition. The greens had been recently punched and sanded, but they rolled well. A fun course to play, but don’t go from the back tees, and bring lots of balls.

nice course
Course was in very nice condition. My only complaint was that we were paired up with other golfers. They said it was mandatory yet we saw many other singles out on the course. Why could we not then go out as a 2 some? Something is wrong with that. Also no cart girl at all.

Up the white clay creek without a paddle
There is only one reason not not to play this course and that is bad weather. I highly recommend playing this course but not on a very windy day unless you can hit the ball a ton. Even though my self esteem is somewhere on the back nine I can't wait to get back there and hopefully finding it. it's a great way to kill 4 or 5 hours and an ego. Yes Virginia, there is a bar with a happy hour.

Conditions
Course condition was a bit messy. Lots of sticks on course. This is related to the time of yesr March so I would expect come May it will b vleaned up. Overall i like the course

Great layout. No indication of aerated and sandy greens
Course was fantastic. Pace was slow with a twosome in front of us and then many home open. No ranger or any indication on cart screen that we were playing slow. The greens were also aerated and filled with sand. I felt like I was in the shore. Puttable though. Should be very nice come late spring and summer. Looking forward to play again!

Delaware Park
Always are great place to play, only complaint was the rough was extremely long making balls hard to find, but that was due to rain in the area. Fairways in great shape, little construction around the greens with new sod, but greens rolled well. Probably best practice facilities on any public course, free balls, 1 putting green, 2 chipping greens, and sand bunkers are in great shape to practice out of. Challenging layout but well worth it .
White Clay Creek
Course was in great shape, staff was very friendly. Pace of play was terrible. Not sure why the delay. We teed off pretty much on time but by the time we got to our 4th hole we were already 20 minutes behind pace. Waited pretty much on every hole. 5 hour 10 minute round.
Course is recovering from a major flood, don't pay top dollar to play here right now
We didn't know this prior to play but due to severe flooding, this course was closed for a number of days and had just reopened. Several holes are temporarily converted to par 3's to recover from the damage. The greens had been recently top dressed too. We paid $45 on a hot deal and we were okay with that. However, if I had paid the usual 70+ dollars for a round in these conditions we would have been upset. Normally the conditions on this course are very nice, but not now.
BandB not impressed
I loved the clubhouse and all the personnel as well the hole layout.
What I didn’t care for was the distance between holes, some took 5 mins to get to the next tee box. Also there is an excessive amount of marsh you have to hit your tee shot over or or hit your approach shot to the greens. For a couple of 70+ year olds it wasn’t friendly at all
