About
White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park is a challenging but playable layout that is well known amongst locals. At just over 7,000 yards, the golf course offers a fair amount of challenges. A real gem
After playing there during an open house, I got very tempted to become a member. The course is beautiful and in fantastic condition. Can't recall that many adjacent holes and the course felt very open. You get to use every club in your bag, including tee shots. Like some other reviewer said, you get more variety and finesse from the white tees than the gold or the black. If you are going to play there for the first time, try the white tees so you truly get to enjoy the course. Then, try other tees and challenge yourself. Oh yeah, the 20 or so bridges that cross over creeks and wetlands really add to the charm and character.
Everything here is first class. The staff is wonderful, lush driving ranges, chipping area, and practice green, plus great food at the grill, and the most comfy chairs ever.
Course is very chllenging but fun to play for good to excellent golfer.
I enjoyed the course quite a lot. Each hole was challenging but still fair. If you are a high handicap you will likely face some difficulties and frustrations so go there with the frame of mind to enjoy the challenge and not worry so much about the score. This course requires more finesse rather than power when playing from the white tees. The black tees require big drives.
Top of the line
Nice course.. Great deal.. Perfect facilities ...Golf Now is the best thing to happen to golf!!
fantastic experince
great facilities great staff impecable conditions challenging agreat challange
Good staff... nice layout
The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. First time I saw the course... nice layout... wouldl like to play again knowing the places to hit to or avoid.
Course has a great layout....super challenging from the back tees
White Clay Creek is a great balance of challenging layout, excellent conditions, and value for the greens fee. It house an outstanding practice area and pace of play is good for a sprawling track. I always enjoy coming out to this course to play!
Great course with wonderful staff.
From the time you get out of your car you are treated as a member. Every staff member goes out of their way to help you enjoy your day. Go early and use the practice facility. The course is challenging but fun. Play the correct tees and enjoy your day. The creek is in play all day but playing target golf you can stay dry. The cart GPS is very helpful. It's a full loop so catch the cart girl early.
Surprised me
This course really surprised me. It is a nice jewel in the northern part of deleware.
A Good Course if you get a Great Deal
WCCC is a nice course if you get a great deal. The course is most certainly challenging; long and unforgiving. However, the course is slightly overkill. Some of the holes are too dramatic for the location.
In addition, I would not recommend paying full price for this course. Regular rates approach $100 per round. This is a nice course for $55 if you can find the rate.
Definitely worth playing, but try not to break the wallet if you can.
Bring your "A" game.
The best way to enjoy this course is to play from the proper tees for your driving distance. If you like to play from the tips and don't have a long accurate drive your in for a frustrating day. The course is always in great shape.
Interesting layout
Great course with many different types of holes. Short and hard from the whites and long and impossible from the tips. Many forced carries and doglegs make it a shot makers paradise. Top notch warm up facility. Great restaurant . Casinos really know how to amenities. Staff runs to your car to get your bags! Water in play on 15 holes.
