About
White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park is a challenging but playable layout that is well known amongst locals. At just over 7,000 yards, the golf course offers a fair amount of challenges. Water hazards come into play on most holes, demanding several difficult forced carries. There are also some spots on the course that can be quite narrow. The terrain is mostly flat but the layout provides enough diversity to appeal to both low and high handicappers. White Clay Creek has a strong reputation not only for the golf course but also for its various amenities, which give it the feel of a private club. Staff assists you with getting your clubs to and from your car and use of the driving range and chipping green are included in the reasonable fee.

Interesting Course
The good. It is one of the best local courses. Situated next to the Casino, you can hear and smell the horses. Wide open at points, cart with GPS.
The bad-no solo carts. I wasn't given the option to walk, either. Ended up being stuck with a smoker who got cigarette ash on my pants-fairly gross.
Course was fun-challenging mix of holes. Beware, there are some hikes between holes, which is probably why it ended up being cart path for the day.
Winter Round
One of my favorites. Course was in great shape for December. Really appreciated the roll on the greens. Staff sent me out into the middle of the course to get me through in 3.5 hours. Will take advantage of decent rates in the future.
Only gripe is that the range is no longer included in the green fee. That always helped me stomach the rates.
Things are changing
The course was cart path only, which generally happens as the course does not drain well. There was water in most sand traps and several fairways had standing water. There were several tee boxes that had a top dressing of sand. The greens were in good condition, as they usually are.
I was disappointed to find that they’re now charging for range balls. Having the range and practice area included in the greens fees was something that I felt set WCC apart from other daily fee courses. With the amount they charge for greens fees, I think this takes away from the WCC experience and makes them like the other Munies in the area. I wonder what they’ll look to start charging for next.
Cart path only
I booked a round online the day of the reservation and nowhere was it mentioned to be cart path only. When I arrived I saw a sign at the check in and canceled round. There should have been aemtoon of cart path only in booking the reservation. I'm very disappointed with this aspect of booking online.
Fantastic course, great value
I only wish they had ball washers on the course. Otherwise, great greens, well-groomed bunkers, good layout.
Hard course
Great course. However I am 82 and course much harder than my skill level
Course play
Really nice carts. Play is extremely slow. Only got 13 of my 18 holes due to carts needing to be returned at 5pm. And paid for 2 golfers so we lost out on a total of 10 holes. Really unfortunate I didn’t get to enjoy the whole course, even with the cat saying I was playing 20 mins ahead of schedule and course pace.
Great course and value
Besides water on virtually every hole on the right side. Tbat caused lost of lost balls. I would highly recommend this course. Staff and friendly, course in great shape. And the fact that range balls are included is an added bonus.
Great round
The course is in great shape tee to green. The greens had some dressing on them but they still rolled fast and true. I’ve been to several courses where the tee boxes are chewed up, the tee boxes at White Clay are in good condition. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pace of play was pretty good and they had a Player Assistant keeping play moving, I saw him at least 4 times during my round. I highly recommend this course, it’s always a great time!
