Prairie Falls Golf Club
About
Prairie Falls Golf Club opened as a nine-hole course in 1999 and the second nine was added in 2000. Though each nine has a unique character, they combine seamlessly to create a fair test. It's an ideal course for high handicappers learning the game but it's not an easy course by any means. The front nine is a player friendly parkland layout with wide and forgiving fairways. You won't be penalized if you're slightly errant. You'll have the opportunity to build up your score on the front nine, putting you in a good position for facing the tougher back nine where there is less room for error. Prairie Falls Golf Club'a back has a links-style design with narrow fairways and tricky greens with subtle breaks. It's a challenging but fair course and if played smartly there are some birdie opportunities available.

pro shop had snack bar, very nice.
Front 9 fairly easy, back 9 more difficult. Fairways are nice and wide, that made them forgiving for us that can't always hit the ball
Streight. The coarse is well maintained, very nice.
Fun course played many times.
As I say I have played the course many times. Greens and fairways are in very good condition. The sand traps need major attention. It was like hitting off a dirt raod.
a gem
We played Prairie Falls Golf Club on a Monday - although there were lots of cars in the parking lot, it didn't seem "crowded" at all, thanks to the superb course management by the staff. Every person I saw come in was warmly greeted, and treated like an honored guest. The course itself is exceptionally well-maintained [effectively removing our usual 'excuses' ;-( ] and it is fun to play.
NOT GOOD!
1) Tee boxes were completely thrashed. I was hitting sometimes 3 feet behind the box to find a place to tee it up.
2) Restrooms were horrible/ I've seen better Honey Buckets at the county fair.
3) The golf cart, I would put money down that I could out run it and I'm not fast and out of shape, and was a rattle trap and turtle fast. I'm wish full that was my bad luck picking out of the line up if so stay away from blue #5 .
4) Six people working that I saw and not one could drive a beverage cart apparently, no water at all to drink on the course.
It is apparent that they could careless once you left the club house.
5) And finally, They charged me $15 for my wife to ride along and watch.
Sorry no pictures, but if there is a next time I'll show you what I saw. Hope that they will get there act together before that happens.
Other then that the weather was great and shot 3 off my personal best. Just can't seem to break 80. Thank you for the great deals keep up the great work!! JMF
Fun course, great back nine.
The course is in great shape. Glad to see managment having the young folks involved in the golf course and operations.
Good value
Good course for the price. Greens were a little rough but they had a lot of traffic the day before and it was over 90 so probably tough to do much maintenance.
A great golfing experience
This course is very well maintained with fast greens. When we arrived we were greeted as if we were family. The staff was very freindly, not stuffy at all. The back 9 is similar to playing a links course with narrow fairways, but fairly large greens. We will be back for more!
Has a variety of tee shot landing areas some generous some tight
Had a foursome of friends, and enjoyed going into the last par 3 for the carryover holes . The clubhouse had what you expect to find for refreshments, and the Pro took care of a small need ,with a smile and fast service. Thanks Prairie Falls
Course is great for beginners
This course was great for me as a beginner. there are some holes with some trouble but not overly intimidating for the beginner. Great Staff
Good bang for the Buck.
This is the second time I've played this course through the golf now promo and really enjoyed the round. The course was in decent shape and the front and back nines are completely different so it is like playing 2 different courses. A very good $25 round of golf.
Challenging and picturesque
Very helpful staff. Brice (?) was extremely knowledgable and helpful. We had a threesome, with a forth arriving late. Brice escorted him to the 6 th. tee. After lunch (try the sandwiches) at the turn, the back 9 seem more challenging. All in all a great day!
Great Course
This course is deceivingly tough. The front nine is much more open than the back nine. You better stay in the short grass as the rough is real. Don't expect a good bounce or roll out of the rough. Will definitely be back!
great course for a weekend golfer
Enjoyed this course very much...it seems to be in very good shape given the season here (early May).
Great price, course in good shape !
Course in pretty good shape was very windy when we played so players beware if its a windy day :)
Prairie Falls
I booked a Tee time on golfnow for prairie falls. It was a great deal for $25. We received a cart, 18 and a bucket. The front 9 was very wide open with a longer holes. The back 9 is a lot more narrow and challenging. I'll definitely go back.
Love the challenges and variety of the course!
Will definately do it again! So much for the money
easy to play & pace is great!
I never seem to wait, the course is designed to keep pace of play going and even on super busy days waiting is minimal.
It's pretty much wide open , with lots of sand, though the back nine can get narrow, nice greens too
The course is a fun course, and with golfnow.com, very affordable too. It was 50 degrees and I got to play golf in Spokane on Dec. 1
In good winter golf condition. Not as wet as expected after a week of rain.
Course in great condition for late November after a week of rain. Staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome.
Fun and great value with Hot Deals from GolfNow
Very plesent course with enough challenge to keep it interesting and fun with a couple of birdies opportunities waiting for you.
Ridiculous charge for the ride along is TRUE!
