Prairie Falls Golf Club

About
Prairie Falls Golf Club opened as a nine-hole course in 1999 and the second nine was added in 2000. Though each nine has a unique character, they combine seamlessly to create a fair test. It's an ideal course for high handicappers learning the game but it's not an easy course by any means. The front nine is a player friendly parkland layout with wide and forgiving fairways. You won't be penalized if you're slightly errant. You'll have the opportunity to build up your score on the front nine, putting you in a good position for facing the tougher back nine where there is less room for error. Prairie Falls Golf Club'a back has a links-style design with narrow fairways and tricky greens with subtle breaks. It's a challenging but fair course and if played smartly there are some birdie opportunities available.

This course is in good shape
Well maintained course with speedy greens and wide open fairways.
Playing golf in the neighbors back yard
The course is set up in the city of Post Falls many holes on the front nine go through peoples drive ways, back yards to get you to the next tee. The greens are great, fairways cut short, distance is marked accurately. It's a fun course to play with some lengthy par 4s.
slow slow slow
After the 7th hole it was a 4 to 7 minute wait at every tee, plus the wait for almost every fairway shot. This course is two seperate 9 hole golf coursea weld into one 18 holer. The grass on the edge of the fairways on the front 9 is real thickand long and hard to hit out of. The greena had been sanded recently so were extremely fast and hard. Back nine is more fun than the front. Slow play just wrecks the day. Not going back ant time soon, don't like the course that much. Good practice raneg if you don't mind hitting off mats. Staff was friendly.
Friendly Staff
I recently played 18 holes at Prairie Falls with my wife and parents. The course was in great condition other than the grounds were a little soggy in certain places, possible due to the recent thunderstorms we have had in the area. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. I had forgotten my putter in my work truck, so I asked the staff if they had any putters to borrow. They directed me to a shed they have that was full of older golf clubs and told me to grab any putter I wanted. They were really helpful.
This course is a great challenge to play
We like this course for all the different challenges that come with each hole. The back 9 present the more difficult of the course.
A very impressive course (Must try)
Prairie Falls Golf Course, from what I am told, is under new ownership......KUDOS to the new owners. The course's condition was fabulous. Tee area, fairways, greens, all in fantastic shape. I like fast greens. These were moderately fast, and they could make them" tournament condition" fast easily. The greens are large, with plenty of undulation. They could set the pins darned tough if they wanted, which I also love. I played once from the whites, once from the Blues. Blues can really test you. Friendly staff. Beautiful views from outdoor porch. Wish they had natural grass driving range. I hate mats. I usually walk a course. If you do, be ready for a few lengthy walks between holes. (just an fyi) but verywalkable. I HIGHLY recommend this course. FUN,not too difficult, but good and challenging if you play from the tiger tees. Keep up the improvements, new owners!! I am considering a membership next year, and I live in Spokane! (Plenty of course options in Spokane, so this should speak volumes to how impressed I am. Going back soon!
Fine course!
I really like playing this course. Challenging and always in great condition. One of my favorite courses.
Best kept secret
Course was in great condition, despite warm dry weather conditions course was green and well watered.Four of us played in about four and a quarter hours no one in front or behind. This course should be packed, with players, compared to all the other courses we have played this year.
love his iaho course
This course is always good and challangeing. Love it.
Well maintained
This course was very friendly and very well maintained. The Putts ran true and the fairways were perfect. A great day of golf.
Friendly Staff
Second time at the course. These guys have always taken care of me and I've talked them into a discount cart a few times if I'm purchasing a few drinks or some food. Friendly staff and always welcoming. The first time I came in my umbrella broke and it was pouring rain. They let me borrow one free of charge. Things like this guarantee I'll be back!
Great staff
The course is in good shape and greens ran true. The staff were very friendly and really appreciated the business
GREAT TIME
Great course for the money. Need a restroom on the front 9. Front 9 wide open back 9 has some definition to the fairway. Greens were FAST.
Holiday round
Tee time of 8:15, was able to get out at 8, round completed by noon. Course was in very nice shape.
Good Value
I was travelling through the area and the course came recommended. Got a great deal through Golf Now. Played the first half by myself with a cart. Course was in very nice shape and well taken care of. The layout is straight forward and an enjoyable track to play. Would recommend playing here.
Fun for the Hacker
A nice forgiving course until the wind pucks up. Beautiful views of Post Falls and a great value
Savings in question
I have played this course many times and tried golf Now at the recommendation of a person I met there. He claimed to have saved a considerable amount on his round of 18 with cart and range balls.
After purchasing the through Golf Now I found that the only savings I realized was the cost of the small bucket of balls. It was not the 46% as stated on the web site. I am reluctant to use again unless I can be assured that the savings are actual.
Very nice
Nice course. Nice new staff. Greens putt great. Cart paths in pretty good shape
Great course! Very friendly staff!
We have golfed Prarie Falls numerous times using Golf Now. Staff is friendly and supportive. Never busy, course is in good shape. Can't wait to play another round!
Cool Course
The course is set up in a unique manner, the front nine plays like most other courses in the area, but the back plays like a links style course. I will start playing it much more now that there is new management.
