#6 split blue tees, this angle requires 200+ to carry marshland and 240+ to make the corner and have a shot at the green Photo submitted by sorenj on 09/02/2019

What a first tee view
Jug Mountain features one of the coolest first tees in golf. It's a massive drop down to the fairway and a beautiful view. The major quirk from having the first tee and clubhouse up on a ridge is the range is quite a ways away, so far in fact that the course encourages players to stop at the range to warm up before coming up to the clubhouse to check in. While I love most holes at Jug Mountain, the finishing stretch feels overly penal with so many forced carries and difficult holes.
Great course…unfortunately we had a very slow foursome a few holes ahead of us. Loved the course and friendly staff!
Excellent golf but no bar or restaurant .
This is a fabulous mountain golf course. Always in great condition. The only issue at Jug Mountain is the lack of a "19th" hole. No bar or restaurant services in the late afternoon.
Excellent all around
The course was beautiful and we were not held up on pace of play at all even with the delayed frost start. The staff was professional and welcoming and the greens keepers work extremely hard to maintain this course’ beauty. This was at the top of my list for golf courses in Idaho. We were able to complete a full round in 4 hours with a foursome.
Great Golf, No 19th Hole
This is a wonderful mountain golf course! The course is always in excellent condition and it’s a beautiful and challenging experience. The only downside is the food and beverage service at the clubhouse - it’s often unavailable especially if you finish your round in the late afternoon. We sincerely hope they will be able to staff at least the bar and keep it open into the early evening.
Slow slow slow
2nd time in two weeks where pace of play was impeded by groups with more than 4 golfers. Last week it was a six-some that slowed the course to a crawl. Today it was a 5-some. Course Marshall is asleep at the wheel.
What a Gem!
Beautiful surroundings! Fun and challenging course! Pro shop staff was awesome!
