Almost everything was fine, however; big issue with the length of the ads on the cart yardage tracker screen. Don’t see any reason the ads need to be 2-3 minutes long. It really makes the round painful when it seems like every time a yardage is needed to play a shot, there is an ad showing. Some may argue get a rangefinder and shut up. For those of us who don’t have or want one, cut down the ads to 30 seconds, As often as they play, that should be enough!
The Dunes
Another great day, rain held off and we had a fun match. The GPS on the carts have a advertisement feature that is constantly on the screen or up to 180 seconds. Very annoying.
Rain Check
Course is good. Greens rolled well. Pace of play was slow because course was busy. We were rained out after 6 holes and the pro shop stayed there is nothing they can do since I went through “GolfNow”. The staff said Golfnow will not refund or issue rain check if the course is open for play. I think a “rain check” is for people not wanting to play in the heavy rain or can’t wait for the rain to stop
Dunes
Another fun round at Sandridge. The Dunes is in great shape and I played a little better than normal. Great time.
Great course
Considering the number of rounds played they do an outstanding job keeping it in top shape. A little slow pace at times but it’s a public course.
Sandridge Dunes
Im 3 handicap and im playing many courses around. Sandridge is one of my favorite
One of the Best Public Course in FL !!
Great challenging layout, no houses, beautiful wildlife! T boxes - ok, fairways always in good shape. Greens always firm and fast. And I prefer Dunes over Lakes cause it feel like big Championship Course.
Practice facility is good too !!
I’m coming back at every chance I have to play here !
Greet Work Sandridge !!
Tournament/ Rain delay
On both courses tournaments were going on with a big delay also because of bad weather.
We could not play and had to drive home.
Lost two hours driving!.
The whole experience was excellent. The ice water machines were appreciated. The course was in impeccable condition. The golf carts were extremely comfortable. Everything was TERRIFIC!
Amazing course
I was so surprised about the super high quality conditions throughout the entire course. Greens, fairways tee boxes, all top-notch. Kudos to the grounds. Crew. Went early so the pace of play was good. Amazing challenging layout. One of the best public courses I've golfed on in my life. Hands down!
Nice course but disappointing
I really liked the course and practice facility but that’s about it. Went to the range to warm up and my cart went missing. I get a new cart then had it taken away by the starter to double up with a complete stranger. The guy I played with was nice and helped me navigate the course but I could have been paired with anyone. Limited water and bathrooms, no beverage cart throughout the day. When we got back after the round, the man working the carts was rude and disrespectful to the gentleman I was playing with who actually plays there once a week. I was shocked at the yelling and how rude he was to him over absolutely nothing. With all the choices out there, I can spend my money elsewhere. It’s a shame because I did enjoy the course and would like to play it again, but it’s just not worth it.
Work with starters
Very negative approach
They are not the boss. Guests require respect
Great Show
Course was in great shape. Need to do a better job with keeping up the pace of play
Beverage cart
With having two 18 hole courses you would think they would have two beverage carts. We did not see a cart until the 15th hole on the Dunes course. By then it was too late. With the weather getting hotter it might be something they want to consider.
