Sandridge dunes and lakes.
Played both last week. Excellent condition even with all the recent rain. Greens a little slower then usual but I'm contributing that to the rain. Probably not cut or rolled . Simply the best two courses open to the public in the area.
Sandridge Dunes
The course was awesome. It’s in great condition, the staff is friendly and accommodating and were able to let us out early. Because of heavy rains this week we used cart paths only but it was not a problem. It’s the best course we played all summer.
An improvement can be made to their outdated golf carts. Some local courses have added gps technology to theirs.
Weekend Rounds
Enjoyed the rounds, played both courses in 2 days. Been a lot of rain lately so it was pretty wet (CPO) but still very playable with some challenging holes. Definitely a good value.
Great Course !!
The course was in great shape The greens were fast It toke a couple of holes to adjust to the speed The pace of play on the front 9 was ok but on the back 9 we were waiting for about 10 minutes or more on every tee box Needed a ranger to get things moving!!
Course condition was excellent. Greens were very consistent and speedy
Good course terrible people
The course was good. Well maintained tee boxes, greens & fairways. However the starter was mentally challenged as well as the people they paired with me and my friend. Made the entire 18 hole’s uncomfortable and a terrible time.
Course was in very good condition except for some fairway traps which needed to be raked. Greens were well maintained and very smooth. Overall a excellent course. The course offers a variety of holes and is challenging
Playing golf at Sandridge (Dunes course)
Great course superb condition the only fault i have was the pace of play the group in front of us was so slow waiting for the group ahead of them to reach the green before hitting and coming up300 yards short every time didn’t see the ranger once to check on speed of play
Excellent Courses
Greens and fairways in great shape. Very good pace of play and very nice laid out holes. Staff very friendly. Very good value for 18 holes when compared to other area courses.
