Course is fairly challenging and tight in some areas.
Great greens, with many traps. A must play course for around the $37-42 range.
Very nice course
As a county course, it is way above it's peers and matches well with private courses. Mature course with well maintained landscape features.
Both courses are in excellent condition!
These two public courses are in excellent condition, extremely challenging and fun to play. Even the pace of play is marvelous....these courses are must plays.
Very pretty layout.
Beautiful golf course in great shape. There are some very pretty holes, you might want to bring your camera.
Plays a little short for the low handicapper I would recommend the back tees.
We will be back for sure. Great value for money.
Great Course- very challenging and in great condition.
Everything was great. The pace of play was good and the condition of the course was awesome. This is a challenging course with bunkers, fairway undulations, water and a tight tree line. The only negative was that we started 25 minutes after our scheduled t time.
Great Course...Slow Play
The course is very busy. Parking lot was full and grass lots were near capacity. Very long wait to tee off...nearly 30 minutes behind and then nearly 5 hours to play (and we didn't stop at the clubhouse after 9). Course was in great shape for the amount of play it gets. Played from the white tees and many challenging holes from those...could get really tough going back to the blue or gold.
A well maintained tight course fun for all skill levels.
The Sandridge Golf Course provides two 18 hole courses. The Dunes and the Lakes.
I played the Dunes yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised at the pace of play (4 hours and 15 minutes) even though the course was quite crowded.
The Dunes is a tight course that you will need to be not only straight but precise in your shots off of the tee. I suggest taking the course book provided by the pro shop.
There are dog legs and hazards that cut across the fairways, you will need to judge your distance off of the tee maybe using irons to stay safe. The greens are well maintained with a fast too medium speed .
A well stocked pro shop and also a luncheonette will provide needed equipment and food for the day.
Enjoy!
This course has no homes on it.
A pleasure to play, pure serenity. A public course that is maintained like highend courses.
Excellent course, in great condition friendly staff.
I have played both the Dunes and Lakes courses at Sandridge, and both are equally challenging, in great, condition and offer fantastic flora & fauna while traversing course between shots. I would highly recommend Sandridge courses.
This is challenging, yet fair.
Multiple tee boxes for any skill levels. A little expensive, unless you use golf ow or other coupon type opportunities.
Great golf course and condition.
Very challenging course especially on the back nine.
Good Value
By booking through Golf Now, our foursome received a nice discount. The course is well maintained and play moved along well.
great course great price
one of the best kept courses around and 36 holes to choose from.
great course !
Very good day @ Sandridge ! We played to Dunes.
Greens in great shape, fast !
Next time I'll try the Lakes if can !
Well maintained and challenging.
Even though there weree many golfers, the staff had it organized so well that we never had to wait at a tee and we never held other players up. the Dunes course was challenging but very enjoyable. We will play here again and again.
Thanks GolfNow!
Had a great time til the grounds staff got rude.
We were having a great time, started around 1:15 and we were starting the 17th at about 5:30 due to a few rain interruptions. We thought we were fighting to beat the darkness when the ranger came out and berated us for not coming in before 5:15. Claimed they told us to be in before 5:15 with the carts when they did not and maintained a very confrontational tone. Well maintained course, challenging, extremely rude staff.
Very Nice Course
Course and greens were in great shape. Started gave us a hard time staying we were late for our tee time when we were actually 10 minutes early at the first tee. Pro shop staff was very friendly.
First time here- very enjoyable layout and condition
Great track loaded with challenges and decisions. Used every club in the bag
By far the best for the money.
Although 'anybody can play' .. which makes good golfers 'observers' of the other playing, the course is in good to excellent shape. Of course, it could be 'manicured' to perfection but not possible with a small budget.
Get there and enjoy!
