About
Vista Plantation Golf Club is an Arthur Hills-designed course that is conveniently located near all of Vero Beach's attractions. The course is just a short drive from the scenic beaches, which are part of Florida's Treasure Coast. The course is compact but challenging with small, fast greens and tight fairways. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The golf course is challenging enough for avid players yet forgiving enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence. It's a player-friendly layout that is great for beginners and seniors. Though the golf course may not require distance, your short game skills will be put to the test. There is not only water but also numerous strategically placed bunkers. Vista Plantation is a golf course that will make you think and you'll also need to be accurate.

Neat
A short course but you need to play smart. Several holes will jump up and bite you. Super fast greens. Will add to my rotation of courses to play.
Don't Play On Thursdays
Our foursome plays here quite often and have never experienced the problem we had this time. As there was a long backup to the first tee, we were told to tee off from the tenth tee. We complied and played that nine at a reasonable pace. When we got back to the clubhouse to play the front nine we were told that "they" should not have instructed us to tee off from ten and suggested we go have lunch as it would be quite some time before the first tee was available. Fortunately another gentlemen also said we should not have teed off from ten, but he said we could play the back nine again and he would try to get us on which he was able to do after about a half an hour wait. I don't know why the initial backlog on the first tee unless they overbooked but it was not a pleasant experience.,

After researching this, our staff definitely made some mistakes regarding your foursome. There was a shift change during your first nine and the afternoon crew were not aware of the original decision to launch you off the back. We have coached our team and this will not happen again. Just Okay
More of an executive-type golf course. Overpriced for weekday par 3 type golf. Waited on every hole. If you want a short, simple golf experience try it. The staff were nice enough but we wouldn't go back again.

A fun quick round
Very friendly staff, course in nice shape shorter course that moves quick. A lot of really nice par 3 holes lots of water and wildlife.

Fun Course
A simple executive type course. Was fun to play, nor challenging. Slow pace for the layout. Greens in excellent condition.

Executive Course
What most may not know this is a par 60 executive course. All par 3's and a few par 4's. Simple layout in very good condition. Pace of play slow, due to the layout and many high handicap golfers. I would recommend this course because it is a fun course.
The pace of play could improve as well as condition of the fairways.

Executive course
The parking was good, and you are able to take the cart to the car. Staff were very nice. Carts come with club and ball washers on them. A good idea that saves time, and money. Workers do not have to bother filling them on the course, and bringing them in when it gets cold. Or have people Pee in them. The course is in good shape. The greens are a little slow but fine. Thanks again we’ll be back. We are Golfaholics !
