Vista Plantation Golf Club is an Arthur Hills-designed course that is conveniently located near all of Vero Beach's attractions. The course is just a short drive from the scenic beaches, which are part of Florida's Treasure Coast. The course is compact but challenging with small, fast greens and tight fairways. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The golf course is challenging enough for avid players yet forgiving enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence. It's a player-friendly layout that is great for beginners and seniors. Though the golf course may not require distance, your short game skills will be put to the test. There is not only water but also numerous strategically placed bunkers. Vista Plantation is a golf course that will make you think and you'll also need to be accurate.

This area has had little rain, greens not true and fairways dry. Has played before when was in better shape.

Could Use A Ranger
We play here often and seldom if ever have a problem with the pace of play, however this round was sickening slow. Two groups ahead of ours was a foursome of three ladies and one guy who were holding up the twosome directly in front of us and at least two twosomes following our group. As I said they were extremely slow and not about to let anyone play through although the golf course ahead of them was wide open as far as we could see.

We do have rangers (or course controllers as we call them) during the week and it’s definitely helped with pace of play. But that being said, all courses in our area have experienced unprecedented growth this season so inevitably, the play is a bit slower. We know you frequent our course and hope it’ll be faster for your next round. Always a Challenge
Our couple play this course at least once a week and find it to be short but always challenging. For the amount of play this course gets in the season, the greens are in great shape as are most of the fairways however many of the tee boxes reflect the high amount of play and they could use some work although not a big deal.

Too slow
Need to separate tee times or control pace of play. Played 4 holes in over an hour. Would have been 4.5 hours plus on an executive course.
Thank you for your review. We’re so sorry to hear about your experience and strive for only 5 stars! After reviewing, we quickly started blocking tee times every hour to control the pace of play issues. Our tee times are separated by the industry average but we agree, next year we’ll add a few extra minutes in-between each tee time to provide our clients with a better experience. Courses in our area saw unprecedented growth this season which inevitably caused slower play and caught us a little by surprise. Challenging short course
First time playing here with 3 friends. You absolutely need to know where to position shots and put the ball there. A lot of places to get in trouble. Greens were quick, rolled true but we found them hard to read first time playing here. I really enjoyed it, my buds not so much but they sacrificed a ton of balls.

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to review our course. We’d love to earn those additional 3 stars and invite you back out for another round! As you stated, all courses in our area are suffering from a drought. Our groundskeepers are working their hardest to keep the course wet and are watering twice a day, but our irrigation system can only do so much. Please give us another chance and we’ll prove to you that the course will be in the condition that you experienced on your previous visit.
