About
Vista Plantation Golf Club is an Arthur Hills-designed course that is conveniently located near all of Vero Beach's attractions. The course is just a short drive from the scenic beaches, which are part of Florida's Treasure Coast. The course is compact but challenging with small, fast greens and tight fairways. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The golf course is challenging enough for avid players yet forgiving enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence. It's a player-friendly layout that is great for beginners and seniors. Though the golf course may not require distance, your short game skills will be put to the test. There is not only water but also numerous strategically placed bunkers. Vista Plantation is a golf course that will make you think and you'll also need to be accurate.

Requesting Partial Credit
Unfortunately, it rained heavily the day we attempted to play. Not the courses fault by any means, however, they indicated I needed to contact Golf.Now to request a partial credit/refund. I have looked the website over but unfortunately I can't find a link to do that. We had a foursome but only got 7 holes in and had just started the 8th hole. It would be great to get a credit for 9 holes if at all possible.
HOT but good!
Vista has done a great job during Covid to keep this course safe. Love playing this course especially when it is hot. It is a short, but challenging fun course!
Beautiful little course to work on the shorter game
My dad and I decided to go out and play this short course. My dad is 72 so I figure it would be really good for him to enjoy a course like this and he did. I usually play around between 6800 and 7000 yards so this course had me excited to work on stuff. From the starter to the end the staff was very nice. Course is in outstanding shape considering all the rain we have been getting. A few soft spots here and there on the fairways but still in great shape. Greens are fantastic. Only recommendation is to spray a little deep woods off when playing there. The Mosquito's will be there because there is a lot of water and they are huge. They look like wasps that's how big they are. All in all if you want to get in a quick 18 and work on the irons this is absolutely the #1 course for that. Enjoyable course for all ages and skill levels. Grab the irons and water because it is god awfully hot and head over there. Will be back soon with pops. A+++++

Lightning fast greens
Overall the course was in great shape. The greens were really fast and true.
Always a good Short Game Course
We enjoy playing here as there is alot of water. So be sure to hit'em straight.
Lots of fun. Got paired with a get group from Canada.
Watch out for hole #5, was forwarded about water in front of green and forgot.
Run poorly
Didn’t look close enough on the yardage and it’s definitely for the snowbirds. My discrepancies are that they sent 2 groups ahead of me who were playing in a shotgun start, missing my tee time by 15 minutes, waiting behind them for 7 holes. Better yet the sent another 4 ball on the 10th as we were making the turn due to another “tournament”. Thanks so much!!! 3 groups ahead of me, although things moved along being that it was a short course but my money is green too and it felt like they didn’t give a hoot. Tough luck. Never going back.
Challenging
One thing we found was there was nobody in front of us and they wouldn’t let us tee earlier than our 11:26am start time. They told us it’s a golf now policy.
Other than than it’s very challenging and tests your short game. Greens are decent and fast.
A good challenge
Very friendly staff. Course in good condition. I'm not a good golfer so it was extremely challenging for me.
Lots of water. a good golfer would probably love it.
