About
Vista Plantation Golf Club is an Arthur Hills-designed course that is conveniently located near all of Vero Beach's attractions. The course is just a short drive from the scenic beaches, which are part of Florida's Treasure Coast. The course is compact but challenging with small, fast greens and tight fairways. Water hazards also come into play on a few holes. The golf course is challenging enough for avid players yet forgiving enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence. It's a player-friendly layout that is great for beginners and seniors. Though the golf course may not require distance, your short game skills will be put to the test. There is not only water but also numerous strategically placed bunkers. Vista Plantation is a golf course that will make you think and you'll also need to be accurate.

Some very challenging holes
Very good executive course with some very challenging holes greens very good fairways very wet but thier had been a lot of rain.
Challenging executive course
This course is good practice for any course, most fairways are tight, there is a lot of slope on the greens and you need good ball placement to score well. I like it.
Vista Plantation
I revisited this course after an extended hiatus. First impressions matter: the staff interactions were friendly, accommodating, and professional. I was able to begin the round early and the pace of play was excellent. For an executive layout, the course provided numerous holes that were thoughtfully designed with various options. Water is ubiquitous on the course and there are a few risk/reward choices that make for an entertaining round. Greens were well maintained; sand traps were raked and fair. Good course for iron and wedge practice. A great value!

Water on every hole
Fun course. You have to select clubs carefully so you don’t go in the water. Egyptian Geese every age visible and unperturbed by golfers.
Good value, fun for practice
Was good practice for me and great for my wife who is a beginner. We started on back nine and had wide open so we played more than one balls on some holes. Greens were faster than most muni. courses I have played in Florida.
Nice place to play
Nice place to play. Everyone was friendly. The greens was hard to putt. To much slopes and was difficult to stop approach shots. Overall I will reccomend this course to family and friends.
An enjoyable change of pace
Every once in a while I come back to see how I can work to improve my course management. My goal is nothing over bogey...and it is a challenge, but a very enjoyable one. Staff, golf shop, ranger, starter just right..in fact was advised of a gator on #5 fairway, and by the time I got there they let me know it was all clear. That is customer service.
Fun short course
You can use every club in your bag. Great for improving your short game. Lots of water so be ready for that.
enjoyable, learnable, quick
easy to overshoot but once you in the rhythm its a pleasant few hours...would return especially around noon when it seems deserted
