About
Situated north of Lacombe, Nursery Golf & Country Club is conveniently located just off of Hwy 2 between Edmonton and Calgary. It lies just east of the Canadian Rockies. The course appeals to players of all skill levels, from beginners to pros, thanks to a diverse range of holes. You'll have to contend with tricky doglegs and tree-lined fairways as well as several different water hazards, including a stream that cuts across the entire golf course. The layout crosses over the stream several times, connected by scenic wooden bridges. The tranquil setting of the golf course is ideal for a round of golf. Nursery Golf & Country Club finishes with a tough par 5. There is trouble nearly everywhere you turn on this hole with tall poplars lining the fairways and a sloped green. If you're even slightly right of the fairway you'll be punished with a blind second shot.

A golf day is always good
Nice course that is getting in better condition. Could use more ball washers
Would play again!
I golfed the Nursery yesterday morning and it's a very nice course. The fairways are in great shape and most of the greens were somewhat challenging. I was out by myself and was the first one out that morning so the grounds keepers were still out on most holes but very considerate when I was shooting the ball.
This is a very pleasant course with challenges for everyone. The greens are in great shape and the staff is friendly
Good value
This is my fourth time playing at this course and each time I've enjoyed it. It is a great value for the money and it not too busy on the weekdays. The pace was good.
I enjoy coming here each time!
a little less would be more
first the greens were in great shape, but the rest of the course could use a big haircut vegetation is overgrown and takes away from the course, hole #11 as a par 6 seems too gimmicky just play it as a par 5
Nice course, frieldy staff.
Had a good time golfing here period I am sure I will be back one day soon.
First time golfing at The Nursery, thinking when it greens up it will be very pretty course. Long holes, challenging. Very good for the price we paid through Golf Now.

The nursery has everything you want in a golf course, water hazards dog legs challenging for all golfers, the course is in great shape friendly staff I'll go back for sure!
Enjoyed the course
This was my first time playing the Nursery GC and I was very pleased with the course,location and value for the money I paid. It is well laid out.
Terrible customer service
Been going here a couple times a week for the last month or so. Enjoyed it until the "manager" was there and was a condescending jerk to me and my gf. Worst customer service I've ever seen. This guy shouldn't be allowed to talk to any customers at all. Clearly he was trying to get out of work early. Will never go back or recommend this place to anyone. Such a shame a guy like this can ruin a round of golf on a beautiful day.
Worst customer service I have ever dealt with
Manager of course was very condescending and a real treat to deal with. Wanted to play 18 holes, like we have twice a week, for the past few weeks. He would only let us "attempt 9" and see how quickly we were done, then see about the back 9. Tried looking up our previous rounds to see how long they took. The one he looked up was when another couple joined us for a foursome on a Sunday... Absolute joke, worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. Front 9 ended up taking an hour and a half. Didn't even bother trying to play the back 9 after dealing with this guy. Will definitely take our business else where from now on and would not recommend to anyone.
the customer was a real treat to deal with as well to be clear the customer is not always right. In this case I simply wanted them to start with nine because of time constraints, do to sunset. For the record they started at 5:55 pm and finished at 7:47 pm taking an hour and 50 min to play with no other players on course and on the shorter easier nine so they would never have been able to finish the full 18 before dark, so you are welcome for saving you $40 in extra fees. sorry to hear you will not be returning hope you enjoy the rest of the golf season.
This guy was simply trying to explain why you should start with Nine holes rather then spending extra money on 18 when you clearly would not have had time to finish before dark you are the ones that got upset at someone for simply doing his job
