Nursery Golf and Country Club
About
Situated north of Lacombe, Nursery Golf & Country Club is conveniently located just off of Hwy 2 between Edmonton and Calgary. It lies just east of the Canadian Rockies. The course appeals to players of all skill levels, from beginners to pros, thanks to a diverse range of holes. You'll have to contend with tricky doglegs and tree-lined fairways as well as several different water hazards, including a stream that cuts across the entire golf course. The layout crosses over the stream several times, connected by scenic wooden bridges. The tranquil setting of the golf course is ideal for a round of golf. Nursery Golf & Country Club finishes with a tough par 5. There is trouble nearly everywhere you turn on this hole with tall poplars lining the fairways and a sloped green. If you're even slightly right of the fairway you'll be punished with a blind second shot.

Golfer Reviews
Guys Day
Four of we golfers meet once a year for a fun game. We enjoyed the course, both with our successes and our self imposed challenges. The Nursery is quite aestheticallly pleasing and is surrounded by glorious farm land. The course is worth a try for first timers.
Exceptional Course!
A must play in Central Alberta! Very well kept Course!
Pleasant surprise
Very nice course. Greens were great and fun course to play. Great service from staff and good food. Only thing I would knock would be tee boxes were in tough shape ( it is getting close to the end of season though). Thank you and I will be back.
Enjoyable day
The course was very enjoyable. Greens are in good shape. Always enjoy playing here!
Very nice round of golf
The greens where great.....staff at club house was awesome.....cart girl was friendly.......other patrons where friendly and Curtiss and respectful.....could have a ball wash at every hole thou.....would liked to have seen the 11th hole tee off boxes fixed back up to original form.....but was still a awesome course to play with your grandchildren....lots of wildlife ....wish I had more time to play this course more frequently again
Diamond in the Rough
First time playing this course, enjoyed all aspects of this course. Challenging with a lot of great scenery. Its unfortunate that it is a 2 hours drive from Calgary and they don't have good signage to let you know where it is located.
I will treat my self to this course in the future. Its worth the trip.
Would play again!
I golfed the Nursery yesterday morning and it's a very nice course. The fairways are in great shape and most of the greens were somewhat challenging. I was out by myself and was the first one out that morning so the grounds keepers were still out on most holes but very considerate when I was shooting the ball.
This is a very pleasant course with challenges for everyone. The greens are in great shape and the staff is friendly
