Lacombe Golf and Country Club

About
Lacombe Golf & Country Club opened in 1925, but the site has roots in golf that date back even further to 1910 when golfers would use the former cow and sheep pasture to hit balls. It has undergone many changes over the years but the layout still retains its classic character. The golf course is situated along the PEII, midway between Calgary and Edmonton. The par-71 layout is routed through dense groves of mature, towering trees. They loom above the fairways and provide a backdrop for nearly every hole. When the trees are combined with the golf course's small, undulating greens, the layout becomes a true test of your accuracy. In addition to the golf course, Lacombe also offers a driving range and a practice putting green with a bunker.

Good, but overpriced
Very Good small town Alberta course, but not for the price. You can play similar or even better tracks for less money... which I will. Price should be $60 - $70, not $90.
Decent
Its not what it used to be. What happened to the beautiful water hazards? Over all the greens still play the best in central alberta.
Good Course for the Money
Course was in decent shape, the greens were very fast and challenging! Liked the layout of most holes. Could easily find your ball if it went off the fairway. Overall, a good deal for your money.
Fairways and greens are in great shape
The fairways and greens are in great shape. They have a really nice patio between the number one tee and the number nine green. They have a few holes with switch backs from the green to the next tee but over all we really enjoyed the course.
