About
Situated north of Lacombe, Nursery Golf & Country Club is conveniently located just off of Hwy 2 between Edmonton and Calgary. It lies just east of the Canadian Rockies. The course appeals to players of all skill levels, from beginners to pros, thanks to a diverse range of holes. You'll have to contend with tricky doglegs and tree-lined fairways as well as several different water hazards, including a stream that cuts across the entire golf course. The layout crosses over the stream several times, connected by scenic wooden bridges. The tranquil setting of the golf course is ideal for a round of golf. Nursery Golf & Country Club finishes with a tough par 5. There is trouble nearly everywhere you turn on this hole with tall poplars lining the fairways and a sloped green. If you're even slightly right of the fairway you'll be punished with a blind second shot.

Great Course! Must Play!
Played a round here the other day and we enjoyed the course very much! The staff were very friendly and the course was well maintained. The greens were in great shape. It is a hidden gem! We will definitely be back!
Cow pasture
Cart paths full of pot holes
Greens were slow and saggy, unevenly cut
Fairways full of weeds( dandelion s)
Staff were grumpy, rude

The cart paths are gravel, and full of pot holes, very bumpy, dusty ride.

There is no hot food, only sandwiches left over from the day before.
The staff are grumpy and rude., and have absolutely no idea about customer service
I will never go back there, and word of mouth is great advertising. I will let everyone I know of the very poor managed course . Both in grooming of the course and in the training of staff.

We pride ourselves on our great customer service and course conditioning and are sorry that did not live up to your expectations. As far as food goes, we do not have a kitchen but do offer hot dogs and other food items like sandwiches.
We understand there was damage done to a golf cart during the round and we discussed this with the gentleman in the group after the round. He agreed that it did happen and was honest about that.

Great value. Great staff. I like having the great price instead of all the off course amenities. The flowers and landscaping are beautiful too.

A great day ,one of our first warm ones here in Alberta. For this early in the season course was in great shape
Nice laid back place to golf
Good early season conditions always enjoy my round of golf here.
Spring golf
The course was in typical spring conditions. The layout on this course is very good. Staff greeted me professionally. I had a very good experience at The Nursery. Spring conditions were dry fairways and sanded greens. Nothing out of the ordinary. Wonderful time.
Beginning of the season but seems geese have taken over the course. Greens are not up kept with brush and debree on them as well as goose poop everywhere. Smells worst then a dirty slew being a slew.
