About
Situated north of Lacombe, Nursery Golf & Country Club is conveniently located just off of Hwy 2 between Edmonton and Calgary. It lies just east of the Canadian Rockies. The course appeals to players of all skill levels, from beginners to pros, thanks to a diverse range of holes. You'll have to contend with tricky doglegs and tree-lined fairways as well as several different water hazards, including a stream that cuts across the entire golf course. The layout crosses over the stream several times, connected by scenic wooden bridges. The tranquil setting of the golf course is ideal for a round of golf. Nursery Golf & Country Club finishes with a tough par 5. There is trouble nearly everywhere you turn on this hole with tall poplars lining the fairways and a sloped green. If you're even slightly right of the fairway you'll be punished with a blind second shot.

Hidden Gem
Not an easy Course! Very challenging and interesting. Overall condition was good. Greens were very good.
Great value and challenging course
Leave your driver warming in your bag for the front nine and then bombs away. Tee boxes very hard to put tees in, some very tough and fast greens
Walkable and fun
Fairly flat and short distances between holes. Narrow fairways generally and some water through out. I really liked that the traps are grass instead of sand. Lots of flowers and a cool overgrown cart path on one hole.
Fun time
We are from out of town and played this course with friends. Wish we could have played it again!
The front desk staff was excellent and let us on before our t time.
Staff very friendly The course. Is not as lush as previous years. But the whole area needs rain.. the greens were great
