Nursery Golf and Country Club
About
Situated north of Lacombe, Nursery Golf & Country Club is conveniently located just off of Hwy 2 between Edmonton and Calgary. It lies just east of the Canadian Rockies. The course appeals to players of all skill levels, from beginners to pros, thanks to a diverse range of holes. You'll have to contend with tricky doglegs and tree-lined fairways as well as several different water hazards, including a stream that cuts across the entire golf course. The layout crosses over the stream several times, connected by scenic wooden bridges. The tranquil setting of the golf course is ideal for a round of golf. Nursery Golf & Country Club finishes with a tough par 5. There is trouble nearly everywhere you turn on this hole with tall poplars lining the fairways and a sloped green. If you're even slightly right of the fairway you'll be punished with a blind second shot.

Great Course.
I'm a big fan of The Nursery. There's a lot of variety on the course and you really do need to use every club in your bag. It's open enough that you won't lose a lot of balls, if you slice like I do, and still has some tricky areas to get through.
Decent track
We had a great day! Overall it rated high, kinda wished it had a restaurant & drinking range.
Otherwise, very worth while checking it out!!
Good Times
Had a great time golfing here this past weekend. The course was in great condition. For how busy it was, pace of play was good. Staff were friendly and answered our questions. Beer cart was out which was nice to get a cold refreshment. Will be back.
Hidden Gem
The course suits me ... not too busy ....unpretentious .... very moderately priced...
I have difficulty finding the place .... signage from ... the #2 northbound is inadequate ...ergo The Nursery is a hidden gem in more ways than one... Loved the flower garden ... hated the weather... ...
Thank you for taking the time to write a review and for choosing to play our course. We will look into the signage on the highway. Hope to see you again sometime soon!
Weed infested pothole
Never play there again and most diffidently not recommend
Hello Garrygg. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We apologize that you had a poor experience here. We pride ourselves on our great customer service and course conditioning and are sorry that did not live up to your expectations. As far as food goes, we do not have a kitchen but do offer hot dogs and other food items like sandwiches. We understand there was damage done to a golf cart during the round and we discussed this with the gentleman in the group after the round. He agreed that it did happen and was honest about that. Please reach out at braeden@nurserygolf.com to discuss further, as we would like to hear more and make it right.
A Must Play!
Me and my husband had such a great time playing this course. We were greeted by friendly and professional staff then enjoyed the amazing conditions of this beautiful course. Finished the day with a tasty drink on the cozy patio. Can’t wait for us to golf here again!
Cool Day but Beautiful Course
We grabbed a Golfnow Hot Deal and glad we did. Day was cool and windy so didnt finish the 18 holes but cannot wait to go back. Also, did not know they have Canada's Longest Hole at this course.
Thank you for the 5 star review! Sorry to hear of the poor weather, but hope we can welcome you back soon!
We Just Love This Course
Played again here today. Awesome shape and great staff. We always know to expect a great time. Finally a sunny day to go golfing this year which was nice. Will be back.
Thank you for the 5 star review! We hope to see you again!
