Great greens. Hard to find.
Live close to this course but have never played it, my mistake.
If you can't hit the ball straight you had better know how to scramble out of the trees because there are plenty of them.
Greens are very soft and leave major ball marks, but otherwise very nice. The club house, parking lot, and range aren't very pretty but who cares, the golf is what your there for.
Nothing is over priced, from the greens fees to food and a drink.
Greens were very receptive,,,although SLOW
Course is not in the best condition when one is NOT in the fairway. So, stay in the fairway. Greens good with the exception of being slow. Was not impressed with the FIVSOME (5) that were ahead of 2 ladies,,then me,,,alone. I would think common ediquite would tell them to allow faster players plat through,,being the course was not that busy at that time.
Covenient - greens good
Great hot deal - fairways need a bit of attention - greens in good shape
course needs work
I have played this course in the past. And was one of my favorites. But they have filled in one of the water hazards. That made 2 of the holes much easier. The greens and fairways had a lot of weeds.
This is a target golf course- plan your shots.
The tee boxes were small as well as the greens. The greens were in very good shape with just a few patches on a couple of greens that needed attention. Fairways were fairly narrow and tree lined which made for target golf. There were an equal amount of doglegs right and left, also some water. It had a driving range for irons only as well as a putting green. Friendly staff and wonderful sandwiches which could be ordered and ready for you after the 9th hole. A nice experience.
course needs work
I have played this course a lot in the past and they have filled in one of the water hazards. This made 2 of the holes easy. And the fairways and greens had loots of weeds.
Straight is good
If you don't get off the tee it can be very difficult
OK for the price
needs a lot of attention both on the fairways and the boxes. The greens are in fair shape except for a couple that had some bare spots but did not come into play due to the flag position.
Nice course
Women's tees were generous and like the course for both men and women seniors
Fun Course
This is a pretty good Practice course ..the greens were in good shape the fairways need some work ,
Lake Miona
Fairways very poor.
Greens good.
Bunkers good.
What do you mean my review text is too short. Don't make it difficult to respond to your request.
local,cheep,fast
1st couple of holes are very congested, could use some work on fairways, a lot of bald spots.
Fun course. Back nine was the best.
Biggest problem was finding the course. Located out in the country with many narrow roads.
OK course
Fairways were a little rough, but greens seemed OK, This not a top shelf course, but if you want to work on your game this course and the price will do. Super friendly staff.
Narrow fairways
Narrow fairways adjacent to other fairways detract from the playability of this course. The design has tee boxes to parrallel to roadways on a couple of holes with the possibility of teeing off into oncoming traffic. Poor design.
You meet a lot of golfers at this course.
The layout of each hole is such that you are usually adjoining another fairway.(ie. players may be shooting in two directions on you're fairway). The fairways and greens are in pretty condition.
Be careful when playing until "dark" since cart person wanted carts back by one hour before dark.
This is not a good course, overall. You can find better fairways in a pasture, and at least that way won't have to worry about getting hit
The course is too tight, so there are several holes where you can easily get hit. Most of the fairways were in very poor condition. There was dissension between the pro shop staff and the starter about Tee times - the Starter didn't even know about us or have us on his schedule. The clubhouse closed at 5PM, so there was no access to washrooms, drinks, etc. after our round. This course needs a good lesson in customer service for sure!
Poorly designed municipal type course
Course is tight & much like a municipal course. Tree lined, however, no shrubs at base of trees. Some holes have houses to one side which is out of bounds. Poorly designed: Tee boxes next to postage stamp greens: therefore people on tee boxes are ducking from approach shots. Holes 10,1, & 9 are adjacent to each other w/o barriers, therefore tee shots & approach shots are going into other holes/fairways. Greens in great shape, fast & true. Fairways are thin & sparse of grass except for the last 3 holes. Carts are old: some gas, some battery powered. They did have windshields & bag covers. Counter persons in clubhouse & restaurant were friendly. Have played better courses for less. All in all I had a good time because Bob & Don of the Villages, whom I was partnered with, were fun golfers, but will not play this course again.
Thank-you for trying our golf course. We can't do much about the design of course but we will continue to put signage out for carts to scatter...when Golfers play follow the leader we tend to get thin turf especially during our overseeding season. We do advertise our hours of operation on website 7 am - 5:30 pm.
Thank-You! Hope to see you again real soon.
